I was a bit disappointed when the Kings traded him away. With limited time, he showed the potential of being a Ron Artest type of player (of course with a tighter bolt in the head version).

I'm just not sure if he's worth releasing Jawad. I can see Jawad being a better fit for us.

I thought Strawberry did a good job for the Suns. He will make it back in.

Strawberry is a name that interests me too. Seems like the type of young player you pick up and develop for a couple of years who could eventually become a rotation player. Can play both G spots and is a quality defender. Mike Brown has wanted to improve perimeter D. At 6-5, Strawberry could eventually be able to play with smaller G's like Mo, Gibson and West.
Perimeter shooting is a weakness but as a backup and if played with other shooters it wouldn't have to be a major problem.
I'd be interested in this type of low risk long term move.

Malik Hairston who the Spurs let go might be another player to take a look at.
