Cleveland- Sources say that Cleveland Browns' quarterback Brady Quinn has a broken right index finger. The Browns first thought that Quinn had bruised the hand after banging it on the helmet of a Buffalo Bills defensive player in the game against Buffalo Monday night.

The Browns won the game after kicker Phil Dawson made a 56 yard field goal, his career longest, late in the fourth quarter.

After Quinn complained of soreness following Wednesday's practice, x-rays were taken and it was determined that there was a fracture near the tip of the finger. Quinn is, however, expected to play after being cleared to play by doctors at the Cleveland Clinic.

The Browns play the Houston Texans on Sunday.

Quinn played throughout the game Sunday night with the finger injured after it being hit in the first or second quarter. It was only his second career start and he completed 14 of 36 passes for 185 yards.

During the 30 minute part of practice open to the media, Quinn didn't seem to have any problems throwing the ball but he will wear a splint on the finger when he is not on the field.

It was also that announced tight end Kellen Winslow sprained his right shoulder in the game Monday night, his status for Sunday's game isn't determined yet but Winslow didn't practice on Wednesday.

Quinn is going to be a good one...Edwards needs to do less commercial shooting and more hand eye coordination training.
