These guys are good

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You are thinking of Keith Benson. He wouldn't star in the NBA right now, but he is one of the better center/power forward prospects out there. He will be the best challenge for Sullinger in the paint so far this season.

I am curious to see Sullinger match up with my boy Jujuan Johnson who is having a steller year so far. I just wish Robbie had not gotten hurt again, if he is healthy this would have been easily the best conference in basketball. Heck, the big ten might still be when its all said and done.

The defense and hustle by Aaron Craft has been crucial tonight.

Iowa gave the Buckeyes a scare, but it's good for this team to get tested sooner rather than later. No Big Ten game on the road is a gimme.

I'm just thankful to have a meaningful basketball team in my life right now.

I know how you feel. Even with Robbie Hummul out my Boilers are right there and should be competing with OSU for the big ten championship crown.

A win at Michigan by 4 tonight.

Duke lost to Florida State by 5 tonight.

If OSU beats Penn State on Saturday, OSU will be #1 in the polls. At that point, I'm sure they lose soon after being #1.

Well, that's a given considering the level of the competition in the Big Ten this year. Hell, we may not even make it to Monday undefeated. Penn State is no slouch, having beat MSU already this season and Talor Battle is one of the most underrated players in the country. Would definitely be great to get to number one though, regardless of how long we stay there for.

Another close game

Sully with two big and 1's late in the game to put the Bucks ahead

Craft put the clamps on Battle, Refs bailed Taylor out a few times with weak ass calls....No whistle on the last possesion though

Ohio State not doing a very good job matching intensity right now. A bit of a soft stretch to open Big 10 play and they are getting outworked by teams who are in desperate need of a marquee W. Some good lessons to be learned in tight games down the stretch at least.

Aaron Craft is a monster. This guy plays some of the best on the ball defense I've seen in college ball in years. He's been one of the best freshman in the country, but nobody is really talking about him outside of Columbus.

Yessss it has been fun watching Craft play so far. I'm sure as he continues to improve and log more minutes people will take notice.

Trying to figure out who Craft reminds me of but drawing a blank. He's damn commanding at the point as you know who's in charge at the top. You don't stop Battle, but Craft came about as close as anyone can at stopping him. He's got almost perfect form on that jumper as well. Extremely mature. Unless we play teams with bigger 4's and 5's, it looks like Lauderdale isn't going to be getting much time this year.

I guess this is kind of surprising, but OSU remains at #2 in the AP poll:

It' not unexpected on the other hand being that Irving has been out. It's also probably a good thing for OSU.

BTW; a case could be made that the ACC is very down this year and the Big Ten is extremely tough. OSU kicked FSU butt in Florida and Duke lost to them at home. Penn State just may be one of the top teams in the Big Ten this year.

Anyway, polls are just polls. They mean almost nothing except when they start seeding teams at the end for the tourney. I'll be happy if OSU wins the big ten title and is ranked in the top four at the end of the year.

There was enough talent to fill out a Division I roster on the floor between opponents Oak Hill Academy (Va.) and Milton (Ga.) in the biggest match at the Hoophall Classic on Saturday. But Ohio State-bound Shannon Scott stood above them all with a 22 points, three assist effort in leading Milton to a 75-69 win.

Scott didn't dominate the ball in the same fashion as the point opposite him -- Duke commit Quinn Cook -- but he orchestrated the offense, scored efficiently (7 for 11 from the field, 8 for 9 from the line) got the Eagles key buckets when they needed them.

will be interesting to see how Matta works in the star PG coming in next year

The next full week will be tough.

Iowa
at Illinois
Purdue

as the next three games.

The entire month of February is a brutal schedule.

Starting Feb 6,

@Min
@Wis
MSU
@Pur
Ill

Since B10 play started, we've struggled especially at the end of games. Every game except the Indiana game was tight till the end. That said, anyone expecting this team to run the table in the B10 is out of their minds. The B10 is too good. I think three loses will safely win the conference this year given the parity. I lucked into awesome seats for the game this saturday in Champaign, can't wait!. This is the time of year when college basketball becomes fun. Blows the NBA out of the water.
