The Grizzlies’ motivation would be to acquire a bigger, more accurate shooter with an average contract. Morrow, 26, is a career 45-percent shooter from three-point range. He’s shooting 46 percent from beyond the arc this season in 12 games with New Jersey.

The Nets have also offered point guard Jordan Farmar, a draft pick and cash in a separate package for Mayo.

I'd love to swap Sessions for OJ Mayo. he is the sort of 2 needing a change of scenery that we could build on moving forward

Boobie could play backup PG and Kyrie could play more minutes

how bout Parker and a couple second round picks for mayo

how bout Parker and a couple second round picks for mayo

yeah, I'd do it , but I don't think Memphis would bite

if we could package Hollins/Erden/Eyenga , I'd do it in a second

I'm assuming they would only part with Mayo for a long term piece, not a guy who is on his last leg and will be out of the league in a year or two.

If they want a bigger SG back, we have nothing to offer.

Flyer...

They want someone big? Semih Erden for OJ Mayo take it or leave it...

Parker and Sessions for Mayo, Selby or Pargo, and probably a 2nd since they can't trade their 1st this year (Battier trade).

I wouldn't mind that.

So the article explicitly states they are looking for a bigger, better shooting guard and you suggest...Ramon Sessions? What?

Regardless, someone is going to overpay for Mayo and I do not want it to be Cleveland. If the Cavs could somehow get involved (they won't, but w/e) I'd rather they send Mayo to NJ for the HOU pick and Farmar.

they want cap flexibility and don't want to reup with mayo

if they are talking Farmar or Mayo for OJ Mayo , neither sounds like a long term piece. . . we can do better and IMHO we have better options

Sessions > Morrow
Boobie > Farmar

I'd throw in one of the Heat's protected picks we have for Mayo

it also mentions Farmar who is hardly a bigger.better shooting guard

Sessions is Not Bigger but the sort of offense of the bench they need

unlike you I would take a flier on Mayo

forget mayo get sam young we already missed out on xavier henry

As what? They are looking for a shooting guard, and Ramon can't play it.

It says Farmar and a pick. You don't actually think Farmar is the reason they'd do that deal, right? He'd actually be a decent backup in Memphis, but the pick is the appealing part of that package.

they are looking for cap flexability by not committing to mayo

they are looking for scoring off the bench

they would like to get a taller SG, but last I remember Farmar wasn't one either

the Grizz are looking to deal

and yeah , I would love to get Sam Young

Mayo/Sam Young for your choice of sessions/Eyenga/Parker/erden/hollins/ and picks

yeah

Farmar is under consideration because his 4 million contract matches Mayo's much like Sessions 4 million does as well

Is Sessions + Pick > Farmar + Pick , unless you are deluded enough thinking NJ is going to give their #1 for mayo.

If we want to take a flyer on mayo , he is there
