Ray Lewis possibly took banned substance while injured

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I've never understood why sports ban substances other than roids. What he took is not even illegal.. you can pick it up anywhere.

I have no qualms about someone taking these types of drugs for healing purposes.

The NFL is a sport where it is inevitable that you will get injured in some fashion. It seems silly to know that players will get hurt and then ban an avenue to a faster recovery. Im fairly certain my uncle was perscribed a testosterone regimine when he had rotator cuff surgery.

What Rashard Lewis took when they beat us wasn't illegal either. I don't remember you defending him.

What a shocker.

I've been trying to find something witty to say about this thread... All I can think of is how much of a "no shit" thread this is. 17 years as one of the game's premier players in this era? Ya, ok.

Now we know what Armstrong drinks as he rides his bicycle. Not lemon lime Gatorade...

I want Lewis to play regardless of what he took. I want the 49ers to whip their ass. Not having Lewis just gives them an excuse if they lose.

I still have no idea why steroids are illegal. I really dont. If used the right way, they are safe and obviously improve athleticism. Its just like protein powder, cortisol or whatever the fuck it is etc. in the sense that its a man made product that boosts performance. I dont see why we're ruling some things out but others are ok, or why a line has to be drawn

To make politicians look like they accomplished something while in office other than corruption.
