Another one would be a healthy Andy.
Actually, Lee, a couple of people mentioned Z. But, I don't understand all these people passing on Brad. He'd be my first choice. I'd take the prime version of him. The one that shot .571 from the field for two straight years. Had a .635 TS and over 4 assists a game his 27 year old season. That's the one I'd want. See, I am concerned about what we'll see from Andy this season due to that Achilles injury, and Sasha would be in his first year here. Plus, Moz is recovering from off season surgery. You grind minutes from Mr Daugherty and mix in all the other pieces at center around those minutes. This way, you could choose to only play Andy at PF to reduce wear on him and bring him along slowly. We'd have tons of front court depth. Plus, Brad moves pretty damn well on the break for someone his size.
A healthy Brad would be instead of Moz, and Moz is the better rim protector. I would still say hot-rod fills our biggest need as the backup pf/c. Tristan would not be needed, and would fit in perfect with the current team.
Another one would be Mark Price as the backup pg/sg. Its a role i think Mo will fill well, but Mark would be an improvement.
That said, it shows how loaded this team is. Maybe Nance is a slight improvement over Love because of Defense, but that is debatable, Kyrie is the best pg this team has had, and it includes some pretty good pg's, you can make a case for Lebron to be the best ever. Harper would be nice for sg as he could defend, moving Iman to the bench, but Shump is a nice piece, and Moz is the best defensive center we have had, including Brad.
SO, the piece we would want is for bench,. so you are looking at players like Ehlo, Nance (on bench), Harper, Jim Chones, Austin Carr etc to fill out the bench, and i think the perfect bench compliment for the current team would be Hot Rod.
Wow, this team is really loaded when that is your answer, not the Hot Rod is a bad player by any means.
