That defensive line class is so sick.
Jonah Williams is a beast on the offensive line, too.

I feel like next summer we will stock up in the trenches. Draft a bunch of linemen, both offensive and defensive, and roll into 2019 with our first well-rounded team in over a decade.

I really think we will make the playoffs in 2019. I may just be optimistic, but I am usually a pessimist when it comes to the Browns, so this feels different.

Aside from being outstanding in the defensive linemen group, this seems like an extremely underwhelming draft class in a number of areas.

In a way too early let’s see what happens sense, I agree.

Lacking depth in many spots, running back is unquestionably much weaker.

QB won’t be nearly as top heavy in quality. Guys like Lock and Stidham may be near the top now, but neither are where Darnold and Rosen or even Mayfield were coming into their final years.

The interior OL likely won’t be as a strong, I didn’t even mention any names there yet.

Nick Bosa has got to have the inside track on being the #1 overall pick

What about EDGE Rushers?

As of now he probably does but Oliver & the Clemson guys are goons too

A lot will depend on how they perform this season

Not to mention, which team is at #1 and if they need a QB or not

But certainly, the first few on the big board are those DL

Absolutely, and I meant no offense to you gathering this list. So much can change during the season.

Early mocks and flagging early prospects is an incredibly difficult game.

I was just taken aback looking at that list and looking at a few early mocks. Aside from the best DL class in years, I had a lot of “meh” reactions on these early-round dudes.

And to note: I know we had some debates over these quarterbacks, but man—thank goodness we were shopping with the #1 pick this year for a QB. That 2019 class looks dreadful until someone inevitably surprises.

What about EDGE Rushers?

There’s a bunch of edge rushers out there, but I don’t know how many are really that elite.

Porter Gustin - USC
Sutton Smith - Northern Illinois
Terrell Lewis - Alabama
Joe Jackson - Miami
Brian Burns - FSU
Josh Allen - UK

Certainly not seeing any Josh Allen’s in this class

I think the class of 20 is going to have a chance to match this year's 4 QBs in the top 10. And definitely seems like the wr talent in that class will be pretty sick if the underclassmen declare.

19 is shaping up to grab some beef in the middle on both sides of the ball.

Except there is, Moz.

Josh’s Allen’s spirit animal, Drew Lock, who is being touted as the top guy in 2019.

You know the drill... 6’4, can fling a pigskin over them there mountains, punishes the air, and is extremely inaccurate. Career 54.5% passer at Mizzou.

Here he is blaming teammates, or “Josh Allening” as the kids call it now.
