Really good guy.
At first, when you said "really good guy," I didn't catch sarcasm.

Thus, I anticipated that he was, in fact, a good guy when beginning to read the quote.

I was entirely expecting some nice story about him.

I excitedly begin my read...

So, I accidentally read "We should round up all the guys"... and was like, "Oh what, surprise party?!"

I get to "and send them to an island"... and I'm like, "What a guy! Sending the players to an island!"

...and then I got to "and nuke it until it glows." At that point, I was highly confused and mortified.

After immediately re-reading, I realized where I had gone terribly wrong. So, thanks for that.

I'm going to attempt to do my best to separate Mike Preifer the man from Mike Preifer the Browns special teams coordinator when discussing him moving forward.

The Browns special teams units should be improved over the previous few seasons if nothing else.

I’m in on Wilks. Runs a 4-3, has been the man for a year and was humbled. He’s going to want to make a point and statement to his doubters.

Reading though some of the comments from Vikings fans they seem to be happy he’s gone. That’s concerning.
Look, any time a coach leaves Cleveland we have the same reaction.
Tabor, Amos, Gregg as DC, Austin who just went to Pitt. Fans are always happy when a coach who struggles leave. I wouldn’t pay any attention to fans comments.

They definitely should be improved. The Vikings have been pretty good on ST for a long time so I'm okay with the hire.

I won't cry when/if he is fired.

Are we sure he runs a 4-3? Just need to double check, someone hop in a time machine.

Took same job with Browns despite being asked to stay at Minny?

Speaks allot for what we are building and other coaches think of us. Any chance Justin Tucker is available? We have a ton of cap space to way over pay a kicker for now.

Justin Tucker played at Westlake, a rival of Lake Travis, where Baker attended.

Not that it impacts anything, just found it interesting.

He was born in Cleveland, so maybe that played a part?

Not sure if he's a Browns fan, as that quote above said he moved frequently, but if he were, the thought of being on the staff who turns the team around has to be tantalizing.
