Game Thread 2018-19 Season Game #68 | Cleveland Cavaliers vs Philadelphia 76ers | March 12th, 2019

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Joel is back. This is a brutal matchup for Zizic.

Not having Kevin is also going to make this a very tough one. Might not be pretty. Everyone has been playing hard tho, so it could be another smack down of another beast of the east by the lowly championship tested Cavaliers lol.

No Love tonight.
No TT.
No Larry.
No Chriss.
No Henson.

O_O

Who's the 'big' other than Z? The man is gonna have his hand's full.

Edit:

Of course... Channing!
Frye time tonight. Gonna be splashing those threes.

No Love? Shit, I wouldn't have even tuned in had I known.

It's really fucking boring watching Clarkson pound the air out of the ball for 18 seconds of every shot clock and then either shoot, or kick it out to whatever poor bastard that then has to immediately heave up a trash shot because there's no time on the clock.

Don't care about his numbers or that he's averaging 17 a night off the bench. I'm really excited for him to not be on the team anymore. Clarkson is the living embodiment of empty numbers.

Literally all this fucking guy does is chuck. Fuck Clarkson man. I hate players like him.

It's also hard for anyone else to develop in the second unit too with Clarkson taking up so much of the shot clock.

Clarkson being healthy all season hasn't help to open the eyes of the front office and coaching staff that this team would be better off without him.

Cavs scored 12 points in the first quarter. 12.

Now, they take the lead. 38-37. 6 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

:chuckle:

We are ridiculously undermanned and yet we just took the lead.

I just love how the players on our team go out there and give zero fucks about how many losses or how overmatched. They just play basketball and they're getting better at it.

Guys like Sexton and Zizic and Cedi are gaining respect around the league. Considering what we've been through by this has been a season of progress, which is more than can be said about the Lakers and Celtics.

Second night of a back-to-back also.

This team wears the wine and gold well.

Very impressed with the effort so far no biz being in this game. Yes on wearing the wine and gold.

A lot of missed layups in the first half, some of them very good looks, they just popped out.

Channing had open looks, but couldn't hit.

Overall, great job making this into a game by the Cavs. Looked like it was on the verge of a blowout, but they fought back in the 2nd quarter.

Odd stat of the half:
Both teams are a combined 2/2 from the free throw (just two attempts, both by the Cavs)
