2019 NBA Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I have just officially been blocked my Mike Silver. He posted the Cavs would not be relevant for at least two decades. My reply was that is similar to number of wins Hue Jackson had in 2.5 years.

What luck. Of course the Warriors luck will run out and will be vulnerable this year.

Hell, they were last year too. If LeBron and Kyrie hadn't been All-Time Great emotional basket-cases, acting like entitled brats that were unable to put their ludicrous sorority-girl grudges aside, as men do, the Big Three absolutely could have taken them.

Cousins being out helps the Warriors IMO.

He’s was, to me, by far their most exploitable big man defensively. Guy just wasn’t moving well on that end at all.

They won’t get as many points/rebounds/assists out of Looney, Bogut and Bell, but they should get better defense and guys who understand that all they’re in there to do is be garbage men offensively.

call it what you may, but the warriors are a loaded team. Draymond is a tough player who deals damage. They are a bunch of entitled pricks though. It will be a party at my house if they get beat by Houston, who are looking pretty good right now.

I've seen way ,way too many comebacks from down too many points to think they're fragile.

Maybe. But that team has had focus issues all year, and Durant looks to already have one foot out the door. It's entirely possible that the disruption caused by Cousins being out magnifies their internal problems.

That doesn't directly contradict what Medium said ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They've lost one series in the last four years and it took an unprecedented series of events (suspensions, injuries and historic performances) for that to happen.

They've also won every single playoff series they've been trailing in dating back to 2015. They're so talented that they haven't been trailing many times, but they rallied from deficits twice in 2015, once in 2016, and once in 2018.

They've won 3 championships in 4 years and are the odds on favorite to win a 4th ring in 5.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
What adversity have they faced during their run? They won their first championship because of injuries, and they won their last two because of enormous talent disparities. They've had one tough series over the past two seasons, and their opponent lost their second best player. The one championship that they lost, they blew a 3-1 lead. They started feeling pressure and they melted down. Curry threw his mouth guard into the stands like a child. His wife was complaining on twitter about the refs rigging the games.
