I need stories like these ones. :chuckles:

There was some animal cruelty in those PETA videos that Penn and Teller were using to demonstrate how fvcked up PETA is. Then I saw some on TV recently and I CAN'T get the images out of my head. It's unbelievable how that happens to me. I see or hear about one awful thing happening to a dog (other animals too) and I can't forget about it for weeks. I literally can't watch those commericals about abused/neglected pets, the ones with Sarah MacLachlan on them. Holy shit, those kill me.

I have this odd mentality where I'm more ok with hearing about something bad happening to a human than to a dog. I'm assuming that will change when I have kids but who knows?

I'm a little late to this thread, but I'm glad your dog is doing well. Just wanted to say that my mother is a vet tech. She's been one for 28 or so years now, and pretty much knows the ins and outs of everything with cats and dogs. She also knows a lot of vets that are in NE Ohio. If anyone else has a problem and wants to get her opinion, just send me a PM. I'll either relay what she said back, or give you the phone number to call.
