Dan Gilbert Statement

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LeBron has fucked all us all so hard that Greog Oden would be proud

After game 6, The Cavs started asking for my payment for 2010-11 season tickets. I told my account rep, and 3 other people for the Cavs "They quit playing, I quit paying." I love the Cavs, my family has had season tickets dating back to the late 70's, I have 2 Cavs tattoos but what I saw in game 5, and 6 made me believe for the first time that I cared more then the team.

Long story short, they kept my first payment, but I refused to pay the rest.

That being said...I am calling tomorrow and setting up payment for the rest of the season because of Dan Gilbert.

Good to hear, bro.

And this is exactly why Gilbert's "tirade" was brilliant. There was not a single fucking smile in the entire city of Cleveland the whole night. But I guarantee you that every Clevelander that read that statement grinned wildly. Even if it might take a few years of rebuilding, Gilbert successfully restored confidence in the organization only hours after the most devastating news to hit Cleveland since the Browns leaving town.

That parasite had the audacity to do this on national tv without informing gilbert of his decision prior to it.

Hope... ?

He has always marched to the beat of his own drum and will do whatever necessary to feather his own nest.

I like what Van Gundy said on Sportcenter in his phonecall:

Lebron James is going to regret not giving Gilbert a heads up and explaining himself.

To me, it's awesome to know how violent it may get. Karma's a bitch, LeBron. There are some crazy motherfuckers in this city. Don't crap where you eat, buddy. Whatever you have coming to you is still way too good for the shit you just pulled.

this may be one of the funniest posts I've ever read....good stuff

I really don't understand the bashing of Mo. He was one of the only players that played his ass off during the playoffs. He is what he is. We knew what we were getting when we brought him here. He can't play defense on guys like Rose and Rondo, and if you have a team that can adjust, you recover. We lost not because of Mo, but because of Lebron and MB. I really disagree with all the blame for the supporting cast.

I'd love to see Mo back.

mo is a positive player and if the cavs had a shot they should def hold onto him. ie, if lebron had stayed.

but, no reason to pay a long term contract to help the team limp into the playoffs. while im not fully subscribed to championship or bust, i do think that a team needs at least a very long shot to luckbox a title before spending on long term vets like mo and jamison.

Love u bron and always will. I knowu made your decision for the rt reason but we could have got it done here and u would have enjoyed It in cle a whole lot more. But I have no idea what went on behind closed doors but I can sit here today and say that I am truly blessed To have played with such a special player. We were so damn close. So damn close now we have taken leaps and bounds backwards. But we will make it thru. Fuuuuuuuuck

Mo Williams

Mo is lebrons bitch

Yeah, and it's even more obvious now.

Listen, Lebron was never cut out to be a leader. He never had the killer instinct. Watch Kobe before games and watch Lebron before games. Lebron dances, takes fake pictures, and throws up chalk. Kobe Bryant is focused and intense before games. Kobe's teammates probably hate him whereas Lebron's teammates joked around with one another. Lebron was never going to be any player with drive or passion. He wants to play second fiddle and it's obvious. What he basically admitted tonight is that he doesn't responsibility. He didn't go to New York and Chicago and Cleveland because those teams would have been "his team". He doesn't want his own team and he'd rather play on Wade's.

Dan Gilbert is my hero forever. That said:

There is a bunch we do not know. Just one small example; Dan says he was betrayed. That tells me LeBron probably gave him BIG clues he was staying. It tells me LeBron probably relayed information to the Cavs that he loved Byron Scott as a coach and we should go get him. The Gilbert letter tells me a lot. More stuff we will find out. Other stuff we will never find out.

One thing I know for sure now thinking back on ALL things that have happened. Bosh, Wade, and James had this planned for a very long time. I now believe they all knew this way before Wade and Bosh trekked to Chicago with the silly meetings with the Bulls. The entire FA period was nothing but a huge circus put on by LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh.

The nail in the coffin is the fact James KNEW what his decision was going to be BEFORE they decided to contact ESPN.

Any bets on Shaq coming out with a few choice comments now?

Sorry this had to happen to us Doug... Your optimism really had me convinced sometimes bro..

But about Shaq, yeah, he'll have some comments.. Some shit like: "Good for LeBron, do what makes you happy." "Umm. Can I please come there now too?"

I disagree with you guys. We need more guys like Mo. We hold too high expectations. LA has 1 superstar, 1 all-star, a few high quality role guys (Odom, Fisher, Artest), and a bunch of role-players/bench players. That's how you build a team. OKC is doing it. Portland is trying to do it. Chicago is trying to do it. And we tried to do it.

Let's not place the blame on Mo. He gave his heart for this team - really, his heart, not like Lebron says. "Watch the tape"
