I got the first ten Teams started. Ill list the other ten later. of course ill revise at the end of season
Bubble protected picks are noted.
estimated Team Salaries for 2012-2013 are included.
Notable Free Agents are listed. I did not list the min free agents
Players listed as signed have multiple years. some listed may be have options the following year.

The Idea is too get a good feel for where teams are at roster wise and what they might be willing to do. The Chart is meant as an overall reference guide to get a better on the fly idea of a teams overall roster situation going into the draft.

feel free to point out oversights so they can be corrected.

If you want contract details and such. Realgm, hoopsype and of course realcavsfans are good sources. Also http://storytellerscontracts.com/ for in depth Salary info.

Estimated salary ranges could indicate either an existing amnesty or with an without options. This is intended to give a good idea of a team base flexibility salary wise.

NO doesn't have the Cavs' second round pick. Cavs have their own second rounder plus NO's second rounder (via Miami).

pretty sure that means that New orleans 2nd round pick is owned by Cleveland.

Information gets moved inadvertently sometimes when messing with a database. I am more than happy to make corrections on oversights.

Depending on the lottery Draw . Cavs might be able to wheel and deal with Washington , Sacramento and Minnesota.

The Nets no longer will get the Houston pick (since Houston missed the playoffs), so Houston could be added to the chart. They might be a possible trade partner.

There is an outside chance that NJ could retain their own lottery pick; otherwise Portland could be added -- won't know for sure about this until after the May 30 draft lottery.

Re: the chart. - Didn't the Cavs sign Sloan to a non-guaranteed contract for next year?

I also don't see 4 draftees on the roster next season. I think the chances of packaging 2 picks to move up are about 80%.

It's early but I see Minnesota and possibly New Orleans as potential trade targets. Should be interesting to see what kind of moves Grant makes this offseason.

Personally still love the potential of Derrick Williams and think he would be a great fit with Kyrie. Yes we have TT as our defensive young big but wouldn't mind adding someone like Williams for offense. He's being wasted behind KLove in Minny. If Utah makes the playoffs Minny will also have a pick just outside the lottery. Like the Cavs they really need a wing but there could be several potential trade scenarios with them involving picks.

Could New Orleans be open to trading their 2nd lottery pick? They will have to give Gordon a huge new contract to keep him. Maybe they could be open to dealing a pick or trading down if some team takes on a bad contract such as Okafor or Ariza?

I am thinking Portland maybe. Either they could look to move aldridge and start over or they need a right now center. I am thinking they might trade one of thier firsts for Andy and the LA pick. They need to give someone back, but Mathews or Crawford would work financially. They could pick up Marshall or lamb with the first pick, and either Mountie, melo, or ezieli with the lakers pick.

the picks are respresented in the first two columns. the salary projections do not factor in the rookie salaries.

my chart is the top 20 but i didnt have the roster stuff for the other teams so I had not updated them yet. I went ahead and put the pick list up.. ill fill out the rosters tomorrow.

I put The houston pick as protected in case houston did not make the playoffs. Ill go through at the end of regular season and finalize whatever bubble picks I can.

I did list the top 3 protectd for portland but I didnt list yet. they updated now.

Portland, Philly and New York have alot of free agents.
New york Utah , Minnesota and Toronto are loaded with expiring contracts.

Washington , Sacramento, Milwaukee have over 8 players signed for the next two years (includes 2nd year options)

Washington, New York, philly and detroit are limited salary wise. Charlotte has alot of decisions to make.

Nice list, good work.

Anyone have the 2012-13 projections for the NBA Salary Cap?
