I left out poing guards and power forwards. I forgot to label the first two columns so it was not intended to highlight the lead per guys. once again unrestricted guys with * are restricted free agents not on rookie scale

^^^ Good work. Easy to read.

Get Danny Green back, Brandon Rush, and the best Center we can get. I'd go hard at Hibbert, while also looking at Stiemsma. I don't share everyone's love for Asik. Among other things, he shoots 45% from free throws. That would get annoying QUICK given starter minutes he would play. That's worse than Shaq.

Draft BPA.

This list really makes my argument against Beal. There are a ton of decent shooting guards available. Very few small forwards worth 2 cents. Chase budinger being the best of them. I know there are not a lot of ginger fans on the board, but Budinger would be a big step up from Omri..Which is probably saying more about Omri than it is about Bud. I think that MKG, Barnes, PJIII, Harkless, Jeffrey Taylor, Terrance Jones and possibly Draymond Green all have probability to be as good or better than any of the free agents small forwards in this bunch...

There are some decent centers also on the list. I have said before that going after Hibbert would be the best plan, but McGee is not a bad plan if he is not max, And Spencer Hawes is decent again not max decent but Andy decent. If we pick a center, I would not mind if we also signed somebody like Gray or Lopez, gives us some depth if we decide to trade out Andy.

I think Ilyasova and Thompson would be really good together. It would be like playing with Jamison except Ilyasova can play defense.

Spencer Hawes has looked pretty decent in the playoffs, he's not a franchise changer by any means, but he'd fit very very well next with Thompson, Varjeo and hopefully Anthony Davis. As a matter of fact if the Cavs were to get Davis I might make signing Hawes as my next priority. You can win with a big man rotation of Davis, Hawes, Thompson and varajeo.

I know many don't like him, but I wouldn't mind O.J. Mayo depending on his price tag.

Would love OJ Mayo, and Hibbert/Hawes. If we trade out Andy for Portland's pick and sign those 2 C's, we'd be set. Then again there's .0000000000000000000000000001% chance of it happening. But still, it'd be nice.

Brandon Rush and Carl Landry are two guys I would look at depending on who we draft. Both should get reasonable contracts and would be top tier "role players" for us. I know Landry doesn't really feel a need, but I would like him as the 1st big off the bench. He plays hard and is just a solid player.

Look, I am a Purdue alumni, love Carl Landry, but i see no point to bringing him in. He is a good off the bench guy who can score points but will be 29 by the time he laces up for the cavs. He is undersized, average defender at best, and main problem is he wouldn't be a long term piece. I am glad he made a career for himself, but he is better going to a contender like the Lakers who could use his bench scoring for another run in the next 3 years.

i like the idea of bringing in Brandon Rush. Only 2 yeas younger, but its a big 2 years plus I think Rush could be a legit starter squeezed between kyrie and MKG. His shooting would be a huge asset plus he is a reasonable defender.

Hibbert isnt going anywhere. Hawes is our best center option. I like OJ mayo, might not get the 7 mill QO, so he might be available. I like rush, but i dont think any of the restricted will be really worth going after. This list shows me what I have been saying, typically all you find in free agency is depth. You draft/trade for your starters.

For your Hawes scenario, no thanks. He has stepped his game up, but I dont want to be the team that over pays him. I would rather have Andy or a draft pick logging minutes at C.

As for Mayo, I personally think he will be the most available SG. Its not because of his talent, its because he is the last guy on that Memphis roster to cash in on his next contract, and odds are they cannot pay him in his current role. I think he would be a great fit next to Kyrie. He is a good shooter, slasher, plays will the ball (Kyrie off the ball), and well off the ball. Everyone wants to knock him up to this point, but his 1st two seasons he averaged 18ppg. His dip is because he fits better on that team in a 6th man role because originally they didnt have a deep bench nor did they have bench scoring. His role was similar to the Manu Ginobili/James Harden role. I would love to make this guy a decent offer to get him on our team.

If the Cavs picks is not Beal(either by choice or location) I'd be interested in a Gerald Green/Spencer Hawes combination, dependent of course on length and amount of their contracts

All guys I wouldn't mind depending on the price...

Backup PG – Johnny Flynn, John Lucas

SG – O.J. Mayo, Nick Young, Brandon Rush, Courtney Lee

SF – Nic Batum

PF – Brandon Bass, Carl Landry, Ersan Ilyasova, Jordan Hill

C – Brook Lopez, Spencer Hawes

C -- Asik

If Hawes gets over paid then no thanks, but it will take more than one center and Andy is not our future at either starting nor back up center.

How much would you guys pay for Hawes? I think he could end up in the 6-7 million a year range. While many think this could be over paying,. how many big centers have legit range and will be a perfect fit next to Tristan. I am concerned by the back issues though.

I just think he might be a great signing if we feel his back is healthy. Bet him and OJ, trade one of the draft picks, pick MKG or Barnes (depending on where we draft) and use the other 2 picks for depth.
