Sheldon Brown Unplanned Interview on 923 The Fan - Calls out Ruiter

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Title says it all....Sheldon Brown is out the door with them lol.

"Radio station said that 'Sheldon said Haden should have played injured'"

"I'm way too old for that" says Sheldon.

Meanwhile, Haden is letting Sheldon burn out his flame as Joe just chills.

"You need to play hurt sometimes"

"I'm not a cowherd"

lol

He ends up talkin' about T.O. and his experience.

He says "Browns have 5 wins because guys have been injured".......lol.

He thinks "football is no longer America's #1 game" when asked about getting rid of kickoffs and potential violence.

I really would like to keep him... but at FS. Dude can still ball he just doesn't have the same speed. Good veteran in my, very humble, opinion.

I think he could be a decent piece at the right price, but we need to upgrade the position.

Seemed a little more like he was talking about young guys in general who wouldn't play injured, not specifically about Haden. I remember Haden said he couldn't lift his arms above his head, so he definitely wasn't going to be covering Dez Bryant. I wish more players, who are capable of settling issues by talking to the media, would. Lot of good insight to what's going on from Brown here.

Thanks! I saw tweets about this earlier while at work and had no idea what was going on. So I get home and google, "Sheldon Brown calls radio station" and this was the first thing to pop up on Google.

I should know to always check here first.

Anyone think Brown was actually calling out Patterson?
