After being relatively quite for a few years now, Prince is back. Click this http://20pr1nc3.com and then click on the first video.

heres the thing about Prince:

He couldnt have looked cooler than he did in Purple Rain. After that, he just fucked his whole shit up. Find a picture in which he doesnt look ridiciulous, I dare you.

Only want to see you dancin in the purple rain..

I'd rather have him come over to my house on a Saturday morning trying to sell me a watchtower then listen to that song again.

I remember Howard Stern telling a story about Prince performing at this party. I recall that he was very late and then demanded that he perform in the dark. All the lights had to turned off, or he wouldn't perform.

He is an oddity. He's always been odd. Did anyone ever watch (try to watch) "Graffiti Bridge"? I know musicians have a sense of strangeness to them, as it supposedly adds to their "craft", but Prince is on another level of weidness, borderline crazy, if you ask me.

But he does have some hits. Can't deny that.

I never saw that before, that was great.

The album the documentary was for was The Rainbow Children. As was mentioned, there is a ton of stuff in his vault that hopefully some day will get released. Dozens and dozens of completed albums, videos, movies, including concert movies, etc. Bits and pieces get leaked and are generally brilliant. Here's one leak with some phenomenal guitar playing (watch it soon, it's bound to get pulled from you tube)

This is my favorite Prince song by a long shot. Oddly, not that many people seem to even have heard of it. No clue how that is.

Second favorite. Awesome sex song.

Third favorite. Would theoretically be a great sex song, but I've only met one girl who knew it and agreed, and by that time I was officially taken. No chance to prove it. :chuckles:

"Seven" is incredible. Always loved it.
"The Beautiful Ones" was really good. Loved the Dru Hill/Mariah Carey remake.

Seven is the best.purple rain is second.beautiful ones is brilliant written and im steeling the structure in my next song

Seven is my favorite too - and has a great story of how it was made. Prince was recording an album with his band. One day he came into the studio and started recording track after track without them. No retakes, no listening to what he had before moving on. Multiple instruments, layered vocals, track after track until the song was finished.

prince was winning grammys at 21. He 'gets' writing to perform. Dude had a movie made around him. He's legit
