I'd guess this ends any chance of Puig-to-Cleveland. Agree with it or not, the Indians don't seem to bring in guys with off-field issues a whole lot.

Detroit has an old dieing billionaire owner who thinks philanthropy is for losers. Someone needs to begin scouring NE Ohio for someone like this.

He's a solid addition, but he's a #2 at best, likely more of a #3. Signings like this make me want to hang on to Kluber/Carrasco/Salazar even more - I can only imagine what they'd command on the open market.
