Here's a good reason not to trade Szczerbiak . . .
When James plays the power forward, the Cavs are doing well with the following lineups:
G - Williams, Gibson, Pavlovic, or Kinsey
G - West
F - Szczerbiak
F - James
C - Varejao, Wallace, or Jackson
Using these lineups, the Cavs have outscored opponents 574-435 (that's 116-88 per 48 minutes).
All other lineups with James playing the 4 have been outscored 188-214 (that's 91-104 per 48 minutes).
One specific group, Gibson-West-Szczerbiak-James-Varejao, is second in minutes only to the starting five this year, so this James-at-4 "experiment" will have ramifications in the playoffs.
Can someone recommend a compelling replacement for this lineup if Szczerbiak is no longer available?

Personally, i dont like Wally, but these stats provide an interesting perspective. Who knows if this differential is really due to Wally being in the lineup, or if it's because the first lineup has played roughly 3 times as many minutes as the other lineups; a larger data set yields a better representation of our dominance.
Wally or not, it's always good to see Lebron down low, in my opinion.
Obviously, it'd be great if we could land an impact player for Wally, but who knows if that will happen. Caron Butler is honestly one of my favorite players, but I just dont see that happening. He's the best player the Wiz has got, imho. Also, somebody mentioned how Wally's cap space would be great to have for signing free agents next season, but i thought gonna lose a lot of it anyway because we're over the cap, right?
I want a championship now, anyway. Can it happen with Wally? We might have to wait and see...
In the meantime, somehow acquiring Joe Smith would make me very happy ... Gerald Wallace for Wally sure would be a great next step
(btw, ABUC, nice find on that pic of Gerald Wallace stuffing Mr. Szczerbiak , lol)
