Arcade Fire is the absolutely best band in modern indie IMO. Whatever they touch turn to gold.

Currently, I'm listening a lot to ...Trail of Dead. They're playing a gig in Norway next week. Amazing live band:

Belle and Sebastian is another personal favorite:

And this one's a MUST! They released they're debut album last year I think. I love their sound.

I got to mention Yo La Tengo too. Great band, kinda reminds me of Flaming Lips.

Whilst picking up the Doves latest effort, a stumbled across Silversun Pickups newbie. Not too bad.

I've been listening to the new album (Swoon) for the last couple weeks. Very solid.

Can't remember the name of it, but I was a big fan of the last Silversun Pickups album.

"Carnavas" - one of my faves to come out in the last couple years. I'm kicking myself that I missed them live in Cleveland last year. :(

This is your band? Pretty tight. I like the baseline on this

I just made it through all the vids you guys posted and let me tell you that's some good stuff. To tell you the truth I have never heard of any of the stuff posted, which is rare b/c I'm big into rock/inde/alternative.

Here's a website I typically go to find new bands and different styles of music.

http://www.purevolume.com/

Enjoy.

The Bass is the life of the band man. Two of my good friends are bass players and both of them have mad soul. LOL

Continue doing your thing brosef. Im a big supporter of people expressing themselves artistically. No other way to live right.

The thing that stood out to me most about that song was definitely the smooth bass play. Do you have a clearer sounded recording, like a mp3 or something?

We're recording right now. All we've got is live versions of our songs from shows right now. We've got a few more up on our myspace at http://www.myspace.com/icehockeymusic and you can download them free at http://www.icehockeymusic.com/free.html . Most are a bit better quality than the video, that was just recorded with the mic on the camera.
