#12: Danny Shelton, NT, Washington

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I just saw a video of Shelton webcamming his account of his brother being shot. He describes how he got the gun away from the assailant's hand, pinned the guy down and beat the shit out of him. It's fucking jaw-dropping.

Saw the jersey in person last night and they look a lot better than they come off in darker lighted / indoor settings (like the unveil and at the draft stage).

I was pretty critical of them but seeing the end product, they are pretty nice. Obviously different but nice. The colors look SOOOOOOOOO much better in natural light. The indoor lighting does something really bizarre with the color combo.

This photo isn't great but it gives better context to what they look like. It's really hi res. Click in to see some of the texture / detail on the numbers. Looks nice.

Yea looks better there. The gold name is what made it look like shit I think.

All the tradition and prestige are gone now with those jerseys, I felt I was witnessing the Arena League draft.

Quite honestly i could care less about the jerseys looking like shit as long as the play on the filed doesnt look like shit too.

Not shitting you, I've heard the phrase "look good, play good" from too many Browns players.

Should be "look good, play well". :chuckle:

Sounds like the guy I want in the middle.

Even if they wore banana hammocks and won it wouldn't matter.

Sean Payton told the media that he would've taken Shelton at #13 if the Browns passed.

Why they keep asking Shelton about his brother's death? That is like the last thing I'd want to be talking about right now if I were him.

Because... Cleveland media....

It's so annoying.. If you want to speak on that, sit down with the guy. Or ask to. It's disingenuous to ask him for sound bites on it.

They asked him about his brother's death last night right after he was picked. Was horribly awkward and definitely not the time to do it. Let him bring it up if he wants to do so, don't ask him about it.

Shit, they did it on ESPN. Can't remember if it was him or another player, but Kolber did it two seconds after she got the answer to the typical inane, "How does this feel right now," special.

It's to try to get them to cry, because people can relate to it.

It's a scummy and disingenuous approach, but since when aren't the majority of the ESPN parasites scummy?
