$15,000 fines for fouling...riiight...

Anyone else getting sick of Silver's draconian fines for slightly-harder than necessary technical fouls? I thought $15k was excessive on Afflalo last week, now O'Quinn. Further pussification of the league is obviously on the agenda. I get the concern for concussions, but this is just stupid.

The fine is for "making excessive contact above the shoulders"

Orlando's Kyle O'Quinn was just fined $15,000 by the NBA for his flagrant 2 on Blake Griffin last night.
