I'll sound bitter here, but you know what?

I refuse to acknowledge them as anything other than champs of the Western Conference.

Frauds and Hacks.

Fuck them.

I refuse to acknowledge them as being worthy opponents. Lucky? Yes. Worthy? No.

Lets see Lakers & Kings actively tanking, Suns calling a quits, OKC without Durant and Westbrook for stretches, and you want to say this team is an all time great? They should have won 60, but won more because of circumstance.

Any real NBA fan could list 15 teams off the top of their head that are better than this team.

IF (and I truly mean "if", cuz this series isn't over) the Warriors win it all, I won't deny that they are the 2015 NBA champions. But I'll feel very optimistic that we'll either dominate them in a future finals in the next several years, or we won't ever face them again because this will be their only trip there.

Over the last 15 years, I think the only time I'd pick the Warriors as favorites is over the Boobie Gibson Cavs. They'd most likely get pounded by every other Finals team.

2014
Heat- Yep. LeBron, Bosh and Wade would likely beat these guys
Spurs- Popovich is probably in the discussion for the greatest coach to ever live.

2013
Heat-Yep.
Spurs- See above

2012
Heat-Yep
Thunder-Durant, Harden AND Westbrook? These assholes would have been swept.

2011
Mavericks-Yep
Heat-Yep

2010
Lakers- Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, and Ron Artest? Yep.
Celtics- Yep. They'd out tough them

2009
Lakers- Yep
Magic- Eh. Toss up leaning towards the magic. Though I think Dwight Howard would have fucked them up tbh. Plus they'd have out shot them at the three point line.

2008
Lakers- Yep
Celtics- Yep

2007
Spurs- Yep
Cavs- They'd beat us.

2006
Heat- Yep. Wade at his peak and Shaq? No contest.
Mavericks- Yep.

2005
Spurs- Yes
Pistons- Yes.

2004
Lakers- Yes.
Pistons- Yes

2003
Spurs-Yes
Nets- Nope.

2002
Lakers-Yes
Nets- Nope

2001
Lakers-Yes
76ers-I'll say yes, but a potential toss up.

2000
Lakers-Yes
Pacers- Fuck yes.

Since 2000 there's about only 4 or 5 teams they'd have beat in a 7 game series.

The Warriors should count their lucky stars it all fell right this season. The NBA was very weak. Next year, reality will return.

Worst NBA Champion in history.

Mark it down.

It took them 6 games to beat us, any of the teams you can throw out? Would destroy them.

I officially would like to extend a non-congratulations to them and their fans. Frauds.

I really hate that this is a thread. I will ALWAYS believe the Cavs were the best team in 2014-15, but sadly, kneecaps and greasy Canadians prevented us from ever knowing for sure. Golden State is unbelievably overrated. They will NOT get past a healthy San Antonio, Oklahoma City, or Memphis in the West, let alone the Cavs.

Can someone give me a good argument as to why we were definitely better with kyrie abd love, considering defense and the way we ended up playing them strategically

I hear a lot of chirping about how we were better without them, they would have seen limited minutes etc

I think the easiest, we wouldn't have had to run every guard/wing at least 40+ mins a game.

They're a talented team, who got very lucky.

Im terms of luck, pretty much like the Rockets, not facing the best possible competition. In terms of talent, close to the Celtics 2008 team imo.
