15th Roster Spot?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There's a lot not to love about JR and Nate. But one thing both of them have is attitude and energy on the court. Sadly, that's something this team seems too lack when not up by 10+ points(and its been weeks since that happened).

I'd rather add a big with attitude who will HIT you and make you feel him on the court but I am not 100% against Nate and I am not wanting to win a championship the "feel good way" or the "class" way or whatever that even means. I will sell my soul for a Cleveland pro championship.

Another undersize chucker that's even worse on D than anyone we currently have? Who is running this circus?

Fortunately the Clippers are interested too and that is supposedly Nates preference of destination with Doc

Nate is someone with passion and heart and plays hard. Sort of what we need on this team. I'm not opposed.

We need some people that are gamers.

we need Shaun fucking Livingston is who we need.

but i also love lil' Nate so, fuck it

The irony is that some people -- including MSB, as I recall -- were saying Livingston would be out of the Cavs' price range back in the summer of 2013, and then it turned out that he signed with Brooklyn for the minimum. Meanwhile the Cavs made the ill-fated, cap-clogging signing of Jarrett Jack. If they had just brought back Livingston they would arguable have had a better player and better fit for last year's team and not have Jack's contract to deal with. Another instance of the Cavs overpaying for a commodity (backup PG) that they could have had cheaper....

Anyway, back to Farmar...

The Cavaliers, in need of backup PG, should consider Jordan Farmar. Spent the lockout in Israel under David Blatt, was a star.

I recognize why another PG would help, but Love's back issues seem like another good reason to pursue a backup big.

Perhaps they could get both if they're willing to trade either Harris or Haywood (or both) to free up another roster space.

I just started a new thread and meant to say edition but had addition in my mind due to adding a player doh! Anyways I said either O'neal or Robinson are the two I used in the thread and you are right a big might be more needed. Delly is okay as a patch for now I guess. Either way we are good with either of them O'neal is the lest risky chemistry wise IMO.

Nate is a good lill player and he would have been ideal to come off the bench for someone like a Chris Paul but Kyrie, you need a different kind of point guard. Someone who is willing to share the ball and would defend. Nate won't really add anything to the roster except a bit of depth which isn't a big issue because JR, Shumpert, Kyrie, LeBron and Delly could all play there. The back-up big though is an absolute necessity, IMO. Mozgov is good. But once he goes to rest, a frontline of TT and Love doesn't inspire much confidence against a front court of Gortat - Nene or Pau - Noah.

To make your post simple. A PG or a C either or will help big time. So pick your doom. I personally think O'neal and or Robinson will be perfect for this team. The scoring combo of Smith and Robinson of the bench will be amazing yet the Defense and effort of an O'neal will be welcome as well. However I would rather use Haywood as a foul machine and a big body and add PG depth. That is me but I also understand we are one injury away from hell at Center.

I don't think JR and Nate would be a good back-court to have though, Snarly. It fucks the balance up, IMO.

Well if they could learn a bizzare two man chucking game with T.T,Love, or Mozgov In the middle I would take that chance. A healthy and motivated Robinson is going to be like Smith is now, make you think for the better.
