If either Drummond or Robinson are taken at either 2 or 3, then that would be one of the dumbest trades in Cavs history.
I disagree.
Obviously, one of the reasons teams stockpile draft picks is so that they can use them to move up to select a player they're enamored with. If, for instance, the Cavs have both Davis and MKG rated as significantly higher than anybody else on their draft board, and if they can use the 4, 24, and 33 picks to move up to 2 to make sure they get MKG, then they would be dumb NOT to do it.
However, if they have MKG, Beal, and Drummond rated fairly evenly, THEN it becomes a dumb move to trade extra picks to move from 4 to 2.
