Okay so he can make almost as much in 1 year as in 3 with the Browns? How is it not better to take one year for $3 mil and try to earn a bigger deal, than lock himself into a long deal where we will almost surely never see most of the money.

One thing I really like about this front office is they don't listen to the fans. If it were up to the fans, we would sign every 32 year old free agent, win 7 games next year then go back to 3 wins a year for the foreseeable future. There is no proof. Call in to 92.3 and have them explain to you what I heard earlier when their was multiple season ticket holders calling in and saying the exact same thing.

This explains a lot about your views on the Browns. Sports talk radio is OK for entertainment, but for the most part that is all it can offer. The hosts know less than half the posters on this board, and the callers are almost entirely comprised of mouth-breathing, sub-70 IQ sex offenders.

And do you think for one freakin' second, the Browns would let Hillis walk for 3 Million a year? It has to be true, I believe they didn't offer him shit, probably never even stayed in contact during FA.

Don't you think this says a lot about Hillis' value in the league when this is the best deal he could get? The guy is one year removed from a 1,000-yard season and the best he could do is one year, $3 million. Teams want no part of him.
