2012 Offseason: Quarterbacks

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What qb's out side of the top 2 do you like. I have really only watched the top 2 so I dont know.

Depends on where some of the lower tier guys end up going.

I like Nick Foles from Arizona, but not so much in the top two rounds. He's a big body with a superb arm who has just been too inconsistent for me to take him high.

I like Ryan Lindley from SDSU in the middle rounds. Another big guy with a good arm and a couple years as a starter under his belt.

A few late round guys, Dominique Davis from ECU, Patrick Witt from Yale and Nate Montana from Montana (ironic).

But it's not the year for mid round guys and UDFAs.

Go get Griffin, he's a great prospect.

Sorry you don't have the idea weapons for him, but pretending like you can't discern an opinion on Colt McCoy until you have everything else set is bullshit.

Good QBs make players better. Griffin will open up things with his legs and his arm, and that is very tough to stop as a defensive coordinator.

Getting Griffin (even if it means trading #22 to do so) and adding an above average to very good veteran WR in free agency then getting the young WR next draft is better than a blackmon/tannehill combination IMO because Tannehill sucks.

What do people think of Case Keenum out of UH for a late pick? Perhaps 5th-6th round project guy??

Russell Wilson or Kirk Cousins if we don't get Griffin/Luck. They would need to sit and they're later round picks, but it sure beats getting a bust in the late 1st or early 2nd.

One of those guys may get drafted, but most likely will be UDFA. Right now I think the Browns either target a qb either in free agency or the early draft rounds. Other prospects that I think could make their way onto other teams draft boards Chandler Harnish (NIU), G.J. Kinnie (Tulsa) and B.J. Coleman (Tennessee-Chattanooga).

Frankly, I'd rather seem them go after Kyle Orton over Kevin Kolb. Orton will cost less and he will be equally awful.
