No reason we cannot win all three of these games.

Gotta think the lineup is switched tomorrow, Santana catching 4 games in a row? Maybe I guess, they did have a off day.

Dunn looks to be back, but they suck everywhere else, well besides Paulie.

    4-2 would be nice

I'm gonna be disappointed if they drop their usual two-of-three to Chicago. We should have the pitching advantage and our offense is better as a whole, as well.

I agree. Sale is a LHP, so I'm thinking Santana will DH and Marson will catch. That seems to be the plan for the entire year (Hafner sitting against LHP) - Acta just diverted away from it because of opening day.

    I expect:

    CF-Brantley
    SS-Cabrera
    RF-Choo
    DH-Santana
    LF-Duncan
    1B-Kotchman
    2B-Kipnis
    3B-Hannahan
    C-Marson

Love to see Donald get some time as well.

I view him as a guy who needs a bit more time than your average utility man. He should see a lot of playing time this year.

Should win two of three. I'll say tomorrow and Tuesday, with Gomez dropping a close one late on Wednesday.

I hope Choo can get something going this series, I really do. A few doubles, a homerun, and a steal would be awesome. We haven't saw this man swing a hot bat in a long time.

I don't want to start a new thread on this, but Nick Camino just tweeted the following:

"Just heard Indians fans will have some more good news in the next few days. Organization looking to keep core players, I know that."

My first guess is a 4-5 year extension for Sizemore. Just kidding of course.

Let's take a look at the current roster, who the candidates may be, and what year each player is signed through:

    C-Santana - 2017
    2B-Kipnis - 2017
    RF-Choo - 2013
    SP-Masterson - 2015
    SP-Jimenez - 2014

Based on that information, I'd have to guess it's either Masterson, Choo, or (dare I get greedy) both.

If it's just one player, I'm hoping it is Masterson. Carlos and Kipnis are still far away from hitting free agency so I'm not too worried about them leaving just yet.

No way Boras lets Choo sign here. I say it is Masterson.

Love Acta getting creative with the lineup today -

Indians April 9 lineup @WhiteSox: Donald 3B Cabrera SS Choo RF Santana DH Lopez 1B Duncan LF Kipnis 2B Cunningham CF Marson CA Tomlin P

I completely forgot Lopez made the team. I'm surprised Donald is leading off.

Fuck Choo. Maybe he wants to do something, anything on the field before he thinks about getting a big pay day.

Here we go again with benching 1/3 of the lineup in the same game. We are going up against a left, so that could be why.

Lopez, Cunningham, and Donald all in the lineup tonight.

I seriously take one look at the lineup and vomit. I have no idea how we are going to be producing runs this year.

Cunningham is awful. Donald is decent for some speed.

I'm intrigued by Jose Lopez though. Here are his numbers when he was with Seattle a couple years back...

    2009 - .272 - 25 HR - 96 RBI

Although... the past two seasons he has batted a combined .233 with 18 home runs.

Never know though. Maybe a change of scenery will help him out.

Marson had a .793 OPS vs lefties and Donald's was .949.

Not saying it is the ideal situation - but it's not like we're trotting out Austin Kearns every day.
