They probably have kore confidence going into the tournament than they anticipated. They really play significantly better when they press and play fast. Wish Matta would make it the center of our team rather than waiting to be down huge in the second half. These guys press well because we basically play a 4 guard lineup.

In terms of AP rankings, the midwest has #2, #5, #7, #8 all in the same bracket.

If OSU somehow makes it past Dayton, no way in hell are they getting by Syracuse. A team that plays exclusively in a zone defense is bad news bears for our atrocious offense.

Syracuse is literally the worst matchup Ohio Sate could have gotten in second round. Brutal match-up for a team that can't shoot or rebound well.

I wouldn't sleep on Western Michigan in that first round match up. I saw them in person this year and they impressed me greatly. A lot of very solid shooters on that team and a legit floor spacing big in Shayne Whittington.
