2014 Cleveland Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not sure, but I hope they start Arian it out a lot so we can get some good INT's on Mallett.

:party smiley 004::runaway:

I tried.

Bad weather day will be all about running the ball. Can our line have another good day? Can the D stop the run and force Mallet to beat us? Glad we have Philthy T back on the line but we are still thin there.

Yup. If you've got Browns RBs on your fantasy team, you got to think about playing them..

The Houston run defense is middle-of-the-road; however, they've not had a full defense for much of the season. A lot of this game is going to hinge on the battle between the Browns offensive line and the Houston run D. It's a good thing the Browns have been able to weather their running issues.

Another key here is going to be how Pettine prepares for Bill O'Brien and Mallett. Everyone seems to think it's going to be pick city, but there isn't much tape of Mallett for them to evaluate. I'm assuming they'll play Mallett like a poor man's Brady in a similar offense. Pressuring Mallett is going to be the key as I think he'll heave some bombs hoping for flags, especially with Hopkins.

For the Browns, the plan needs to stay in tact. Run the ball and don't turn it over. If they continue to come out of games positive in the turnover ratio, they'll keep winning.

So no Jordan Cameron, Tay Gipson, or Phil Taylor in practice today... not in love with that news...

I remember saying earlier in the season the Browns were a playoff team and a lot of people laughed about it on here.

How about that now?

Why would you talk about it??? lol

What I'm wondering is how do you think Josh Gordon returning impacts the offense?

Beat Houston and we can start talking playoffs. It's still too early.

I hate this.

You probably said it the last 10 years too. And were bound to be right eventually.

We are in 1st place when there was snow on the ground. We have the same record as SEA, GB, Indi, KC.

Every time I would even mention "playoffs" and "Browns" in the same sentence were:
1) Before the season started, most likely after the draft when the the typical chime of every Browns fan rings around Cleveland "I think the Browns really have a shot at playoffs this year"
2) At week 4-7 when playoffs hopes were dead, "Playoffs are overrated anyhow. We get a good draft, 1 more year of experience, some key FA acquisitions, I think the Browns got it."

The Browns have a legit shot at making the playoffs with our remaining schedule.

Looking at the schedule and the conference it is going to take 10 wins. At 7-3 there are a lot more routes to 10-6 than there are at 6-4. That's all I am saying. I feel like this is the biggest game of the season.
