They must've told him Barea would be gone

3.75 is a good 1 year deal for him tho

I don't think so. Dallas made a run at Mo before they went after Jameer Nelson. Mo could've been duking it out with Devin Harris for the starting PG spot on a legitimate contending team. Instead he took a 1 year deal for 3+ million to be on one of the worst teams in the league...

I don't get it. Not at all..

No pressure man.

Mo can't handle the pressure. He wasn't expecting to have to play in the playoffs this season.

Exactly, Mo makes his money by having good regular-season stats. If he gets exposed in the playoffs, it's harder for him to find a contract the next season.

So why don't we have a back-up center yet? If we have one lined up as part of the Love deal then that is ok but otherwise this is starting to become a thing.

Oh I meant personally like for HIM. No way anybody else was gonna give him that much

I agree. Would love for it to be because Dieng is coming here as well but I don't see the Wolves giving that guy up.

Things aren’t looking good when it comes to negotiations between the Phoenix Suns and their restricted free agent star guard Eric Bledsoe.

According to league sources, an “ominous development” has arisen with sides still “very far apart” in contract negotiations. It has even escalated to the point where the “relationship is on the express lane to being ruined,” a source with knowledge of the situation informed CSNNW.com.

The Suns offered Bledsoe a four-year, $48 million deal with declining salaries each year, two sources said. That proposal was quickly turned down. Bledsoe’s camp is putting a max price tag on the player Suns Head Coach Jeff Hornacek called “a Top-10 player in the NBA in coming years”, another source said.

That is a disrespectful, lowball offer though. He's not worth a 5 year max deal but I think he's worth the 4 year max deal. I do think with Isaiah and Tyler Ennis coming in Bledsoe is "expendable" now though. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

How is it disrespectful? He's only played a full season once. This was his first season with legit stats to warrant a max contract. Not to mention he's torn the same meniscus twice in the same knee.

4 years 48 million with decreasing salary in each year is a lowball offer for someone who showed as much promise as Eric Bledsoe. Last year was his 1st full year starting and he put up exceptional numbers. He's not worth the 5 year max deal at all but he's easily worth more than 4/48 million.

Actually surprised he hasn't signed an offer sheet in RFA yet.

Dieng isn't the only guy the Cavs could get in the Love trade. Could be a center coming from a third team.

If Mike Scott heads to Moscow, it may make it more likely that Atlanta brings back Gustavo Ayon and/or Elton Brand, two guys I have identified as players the Cavs should take a look at.
