I've seen mentioned on a few different message boards that Love and Koufos really dislike each other. There was no elaboration as to why. Anyone have the backstory? I assume there is something to it, or at least there was, given I saw it mentioned in different places. Just curious if it was off court or just some on court incident.

I would love for Shawn Marion to play the Rashard Lewis/Shane Battier role for this team. Guarding the the four in certain situations while Blatt moves Love to the five. This allows Lebron to stick with playing the three.

So anybody got a detailed report on Kufos or Mozgov ? I haven't really watched either of them at all, and all I know is they've had issues cracking rotations in their careers.

I'd take Koufos over Mozgov. Younger,cheaper and had a 8/7/1.3/59% season when in Denver 2 years ago while playing 22 mpg.

Koufos seems like a key contributor on the Grizzlies, I don't think they would be willing to part with him.

Exactly. I'd like him too but the Grizzlies aren't exactly stocked with big men.

With Gasol having some injuries, they need Koufos as an insurance policy.

Mozgov makes 4.4 million a year, we could trade the Utah guys, to make salaries match.

Mozgov is a better rim protector, which is what we need.

Whatever the management thinks is better for the team to win. I just stated my preference over those two. I'm sure Griffin will find a rim protector.

also unlike Koufos Mozgov doesn't have an expiring contract (he has 2 years left with a team option after the next season). having him under control for 2 years at a moderate price makes him more valuable to us.
