2014 NBA Off Season Moves For Other Teams Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Knicks won't make the playoffs next season.

PG - Calderon/Larkin
SG - Smith/Hardaway
SF - Shumpert/Early
PF - Melo/Amar'e
C - Dalembert/Aldrich

I mean, if Shumpert takes a big step and Smith keeps his head screwed on, I guess they could sneak in as a 7 or 8 seed, but they're not a threat.

I think Phil is trying to move Amar'e and Smith, will be interesting to see if they could find some one to take back the contracts. I'd assume that if he can move Amar'e he'd have to move Sumpert or Hardaway with him

So that Bosh contract is absolutely the worst contract in the NBA in three years, right?

It's a gamble. Bosh was the 3rd option behind 2 very good players and there was a lot of key guys absorbing up his stats, I see bosh getting 22-10 next year which would justify his max contract (seems to be going rate for players of his caliber).

Plus no way Miami lets everyone walk! Worst contract ever? No. Best contract ever? No.

I don't understand why the Bulls are considering amnestying Boozer so they can sign Gasol. Seems the Lakers would be down for a sign & trade. They have the cap to absorb his contract and he's only got 1 year left. So they get to contend for a playoff spot this year and stay relevant while keeping cap space for next year!

Starvin' Marvin to the Hornets? I thought the Heat were hot after him. And now that they got all this money freed up...

Bosh must just really love living in Miami.

I can respect that. I actually like South Florida. I like it MORE, now that the Heatles have been blown up, and evil has been banished, and balance has been restored to the universe.

The Wizards setting themselves up for Durant to go him by signing Pierce for 2 years. If OKC doesn't get over the hump there in trouble. Wall/Beal/Gortat is a hell of a core to entice KD.

So, Luol Deng signs with 2 year / 20 million with the HEAT? Wasn't he offered a 4 year / 40 million with the BULLS that he rejected ?

He was offered 3/30 and signed for 2/20 lol

Obviously Melo was the best possible outcome but I am currently happy with the team the Bulls have put together. Goes without saying that this all hinges on DRose staying healthy and becoming an allstar level player (which would help out the Cavs since Kyrie's only shot at getting the DRose max is being voted as a starter again this year).

DRose/Hinrich
Jimmy Buckets/Tony Snell
Mike Dunleavy/Doug McBuckets/Anthony Randolph (need another wing player but Jimmy can play either 2 or 3)
Gasol/Taj/Nikolai Mirotic/Cameron Bairstow
Noah/?

They need another center but I am cool with rolling with that 4 man rotation at the PF/C position since Gasol can play some C. Also need another wing player.

Oh $hit. The Heat are still in it. They just got their LBJ replacement.

Good signing's by the Pistons in DJ Augustin and Caron Butler today.

Nobody likes playing ball with the Bulls. Can't do anything if the other team doesn't want to do their part. I am sure the Lakers are hoping to bid of Boozer in the amnesty auction.

Did the Pistons really just sign Caron Butler to 2/9m ?

SVG making the case for those teams that didn't want to hand him the keys to the castle. Butler is a min contract at best IMO.

Like the DJ signing by him, but this one is a head scratcher.
