2014-2015 National Champs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So...JT Barrett...

Is kindof good?

Decent game. We dominated, then fell asleep. That pass interference call was a huge momentum shift in Ohio State's direction to allow us to wake up and win the game.

Maryland on the road is going to be a tough game next week.

MSU is probably the best team in the conference right now. Nebraska will likely be undefeated heading into next week. So the matchup with MSU in Michigan will be a good test for how good Nebraska actually is.

Penn State was exposed today. They look ok but they are a year away from being a major factor.

Rutgers has been a pleasant surprise.

Michigan is WTF bad.

Indiana is bipolar.

In my opinion:

MSU
Nebraska-undefeated means something. The MSU game will show a lot.
OSU- things are coming together slowly.
Wisconsin- They just are a solid team.

Maryland is lurking though.

The defense is still not up to snuff. I think we all know who I blame for that, so I won't rehash.

The offense certainly does seem to be improving, but I'll withhold any sort of praise at this point. Cincinnati has been really a terrible defensive team so far this year so it's just too hard to tell.

I'm just glad Ezekiel finally got some fucking carries.

I'm happy Urbs finally pulled his head out of his ass and got our offense back in gear. But the secondary though...jesus christ. How the hell has that not been resolved yet..

Those secondary plays were awful. And jesus you could just see they were going to get beat in the stadium way before TV showed it. HAVE to tighten that up. Really bad. Our secondary was supposed to be beefed up this year.

The guy running onto the field was actually at a party I was at during the afternoon. People like that are fucking idiots. You won't believe that guy was pretty much on a full scholarship. He is a Senior. What an idiot.

UC has one of the dumbest/annoying "chants". I do give them one thing, they pretty much had only 1 section way up top and they were pretty damn loud. UC fans sitting in front of us though said going to a game at Ohio Stadium was awesome. Hearing the O-H-I-O chant, seeing the band live, Hang on Sloopy, even stayed for Carmen Ohio.

Traffic is a shit storm, of course. No cell reception sucks ass, too.

Had Canes once, we won.

Urban says Braxton is the QB in 2015 if healthy.

So, since I live in NW Ohio, I am thinking of heading up to East Lansing if I can get a few people to go. Not go to the game, just go to tailgate/go to bars.

Have any of you been there before? Is it worth it? It would only be a 2 hour drive, so not bad at all. We are not the type of fans to try and start fights, just enjoy and interact.

Thanks.

Good luck not getting in a fight being around MSU fans.

Are they dicks? Like Browns fans?

We were around Cinci fans all day and everyone was treating em pretty nice. Shit, the party I went to was about 50/50.

It was kind of a joke because I don't generalize fan bases or groups of people.

But I was in Indianapolis for the game on December 7 and they were horrible.

Have an ex that goes there for vet school. It's a cool place and the people are generally cool as well. No reason not to check out another campus

Just finished my graduate degree from MSU. It isn't the most happening town, but it really comes alive on gamedays, especially big night games like tonight. If you do go, I would suggest hitting up Crunchy's and Hopcat for their great beer selections, if that is what you are looking for. Also, may be able to work your way into some of the tailgate parties. As long as you are respectful and not just enjoying your time there, MSU fans are usually pretty tame relative to the Walmart Wolverines you will see infecting most of the state. Hope you have a good time!
