Barrett showing the improvement you'd hope for from a true freshman. He's a different player from the one who played against Va. Tech. Honestly, Miller getting hurt might be a blessing. Barrett keeps this up for the rest of the season and OSU wins the Big Ten? Miller might not come back.

Defense still hasn't improved over the course of 4 seasons, though. Really depressing to still see so many big plays given up.

Why? Braxton never has....

I guess I don't understand why Barrett has to do all of these things like win the Big Ten, be a Heisman Finalist, etc. to be the starter. Can't he just be better than Braxton? Already I can tell he's better at getting the ball out on time.

But here's my problem with throwing up stuff like winning the Big Ten in order to keep the job. What if the offense continues to dominate, but they don't win the Big Ten because the defense can't stop anybody? They score 40+ a game, but because they don't win the conference Barrett shouldn't start? Doesn't make sense to me.

God, this is becoming worse than the "start Kenny G" fans last year...

Big 10 titles aren't won against Cincy and Maryland in September. JT hasn't done anything yet other than play horrible against the one above average defense he's faced. People need to fuckin chill.

Braxton regularly beat down bad teams effortlessly. Means nothing.

He wants to stand out and earn the starting QB spot next year? Win the Big 10. Do something Braxton hasn't. The defense is easily better this year than it was last year. It is enough to win the Big 10. Now go earn it. Florida A&M, SDSU, and Cal isnt earning it. Navy, Kant State, Cincy, Maryland, losing to a bad VT team isn't earning it.

Who cares if Braxton has never won the Big 10? He would have won it in a landslide in 2012 if he wasn't paying for past players mistakes, was the starting QB for the majority of the games during a 24 game win streak, and would have won the Heisman last year if he didn't get hurt. Barrett isn't in his league, nothing he can do will make him the starter next year over Miller.

Eh I think we will have a tough time moving up the remainder of the season honestly. All three of the top five that lost will still be ahead of us.

Concerning jt and Braxton, yoh play Braxton, older and more talented. He's earned the chance to play out his career
