2014 Series #39 -|- Indians vs. Orioles -|- August 15th, 16th, and 17th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That 2-1 pitch to Santana was below his fucking knees. SMH. Ruined the at-bat.

@NickCaminoWTAM: Today the Indians are 4 1/2 games back of a Wild Card spot. On Aug. 17, 2013 the Tribe was 4 1/2 games back of a Wild Card spot.

Salazar looking good.

Damn, I didn't think Young was capable of making a decent defensive play

Kipnis with a bloop single scoring Santana. Tribe leads it 1-0 here in the fifth.

Kluber-Bauer-Salazar-Carrasco seems to be the future. I'd kill for a dominant ace added to this bunch.

You mean like Kluber?

More like a guy that has established credibility around the league for multiple years. Kluber has been amazing but there's always room for improvement.

Kluber has been Cy Young caliber since the All Star break...not much improvement left for him.

I'm aware of that. But a Masterson year can happen next year to Klubes. We don't know for sure, that's why we should add a ace instead of a bat.

Baltimore rallies and takes a 2-1 lead as we head to the bottom of the sixth at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario.

Salazar got hit hard today and almost escaped unscathed. Couple balls that barely stayed in the yard and DP off a ball nearly smoked over Kip's head. I keep hoping he's going to come around, but I don't trust him at all. Of course, I trust Tomlin less.

It's just not that easy to add an ace unless you're willing to shell out crazy money for a guy. It's possible via trade, but the package would start with Francisco Lindor.

Corey Kluber is our ace. We'll be looking for a #2 or #3 type. I keep saying, watch Josh Beckett. He's had a nice year, has ties to Tito, and he shouldn't command a long-term commitment.

I hear you.

Josh Beckett has a torn labrum, is done for the year, and is likely going to retire according to reports.

It's a shame, because he was having a nice year.
