Whoever wins this division is going to earn it. If we can continue to take care of business each series, we're going to have a shot at this thing.

That would place us at 89-73, which would make a potential playoff spot very reachable. We've got some very easy scheduling coming up in September (Chicago, Houston, Minnesota), solid opponents (Tampa, LAA), and two teams that we're going to have to fight tooth and nail to have a chance against (Kansas City, Detroit).
It's a tough road, but last year's run taught me to never give up on this team. You never know. We could have another historic September.
@sgm405 Trades in baseball are going to always be perceived as more than just a 1 to 1, especially since most deals for big name guys have 2,3, or 4 players going back to the receiving team. I absolutely agree that Brantley is a star and that's great to have, but they had an opportunity to get an extra piece or 2 to go along with him and failed.
I know Cleveland usually does well when trading those fringe guys or players who are leaving at the end of the year. E Perez, Broussard, Blake, Westbrook, DeRosa, and now Cabrera. They guys that they received for all these players have worked out and helped contribute to the team.
Walters looks like an absolute steam so far. Excited to continue to watch him grow as a player. Maybe we can find him a position next year.
