2015-2016 Around the NBA

Pierce looks like corpse out there. Clips really need either Stephenson to step.or trade for a a SF

As expected, GS is making their run now.

That is what they lacked last year was that one vet winner with a killer instinct. Garnett is working his young guys out in Minny two. We may have hated them when were against them but those guys are true gamers.
Oh hell yeah they are. If Paul Pierce was on the Clippers last year they would've beat Houston. The dilemma is Lance Stephenson is another guy, now, who is a serious headcase. Clippers have six guys (Chris Paul, Deandre Jordan, Jamal Crawford, Lance Stephenson, Josh Smith, and Austin Rivers) who have or have had attitude issues and/or a lack of winning despite their talent.

The game right now should show you why I am concerned. I have them reaching the WCF but I don't see them winning it. They are prone to making a series of dumbass decisions that can cost them games against the best teams.

In a another dimension where you had Griffin in stead of Love. What team would you chose?

Just don't trust a wing rotation of Pierce, Rivers, Crawford, and Wesley Johnson. Puts so much pressure on Paul and Griffin to carry the offense as you know those other guys are going into a lull at some point

Yeah they will be eventually a blow up team if the poster who said they need more depth at SF ect... Peirce is good for the locker room but he is not a champion level player anymore.

“Head Coach Luke Walton” is still a difficult thing for me to wrap my head around.

LOL I like how the NBA still has to force feed the Lakers and Celtics to national TV.

I don't think this is a conversation anymore. Griffin is better than Love now and also younger. Love's range extends out to the three point line, so his floor spacing ability is valuable, but Griffin has an automatic midrange shot that closes the gap. I'm taking Griffin without a second thought.

Besides Davis, Griffin, and Draymond though, I'm going with Love, even ahead of Aldridge and Favors (who's mightily underrated).

Griffin with a three point shot is a much better fit in terms of a style of offense. However If Love can be that clutch guy deep in the season it would make it tougher on me. Imagine having both Griffin and Love... Hmmm.

And right on cue the Warriors bait Wesley Johnson of all people trying to create off the dribble against Igoudala and Green with predictable results.

I a really trying to find why I really dislike the Warriors aside from Green and the National media. Curry is not a punk yet has a punchable cocky look. No one else is a real bitch yet I want the worst for them. I do not get it.

Because they defeated us. Thats why.

Lol man, NBA is damn near manufacturing this winning streak just to milk it. Not saying GSW isn't ridiculous right now but if you notice things always seem to go there way with foul calls near the end of close games. And I've personally tuned in to 6 games so far and 3 of them had BS calls right at the end that were clearly wrong which ended up helping them win. Its just comical how unethical and blatant this league is when its bringing up a new cash cow.

I honestly feel the same way. Green is a little shit, he spent his college years talking trash about LBJ and I hate how a punk like him got to luck into a championship win against LB after that.

However I have to admit, Curry doesn't deserve any hate based on any outright actions or words but I can't help but feel like he's got this cocky look now like he genuinely believes he's the new MJ or some shit. And maybe I'm just imagining that...

Put a fork in Paul Pierce...great career but the dude is finally done. He's given the Clippers 0 out there.
