2015-2016 Around the NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How anyone can say what GSW is doing is lucky is beyond me. They're by FAR the best team in the NBA and it's not even close. The amount of absurdly difficult shots they make and look routine every single night is unreal. They're the best team I've ever seen.
Guess u didn't watch Jordan
You know why I hate GS?

Because every post-LBJ-return Cavs fan is butt hurt that ESPN is slobbing the Warriors cock.

A bunch of bleeding vaginas who think the 2016 NBA championship is fated after only 11 games.

I'm not worried about the Warriors at all. I don't give a shit if LBJ doesn't win MVP. All that matters is getting our team healthy and playing well as a team in time for the playoffs. That is it.

You sound like a dickhead

Steph, iggy, barnes, klay, and green are to good.

that steph/klay/barnes/iggy/green line up is amazing.

we gotta figure out how to match up with it and start experimenting with line ups as soon as Irving and shump come back
Cavs are the one team who if healthy could really just attack that lineup. Love Lebron Irving shumpert and one other wing. LeIso with that much shooting is hard to stop without a true rim protector and if you shade to Lebron you can swing the ball to Irving.

There is a reason that gourimoko seems so irrationally optimistic to most fans when it comes to Cavs GS lineup

Lol ok. The West isn't as stacked as you think. The Rockets and the Clippers are playoff chokers. The Grizzlies aren't that good. The Spurs are good, but I don't see them beating the Warriors, mainly because Parker is absolutely done. And I already said OKC could beat them if they're healthy, but I like the Warriors' chances anyways.

If someone's going to beat them this year, it's going to be the Cavs. I don't care if it's 13 games in. Feel free to revisit this post in 7 months.

If you want to discount a full 82+playoffs for a measly 13, then that's all I need to know.

Last year, after 20 games, people were questioning whether the Cavs would make the playoffs. Think about that.

Have to say I agree. This isn't a normal NBA year, we are talking about two absolute juggernauts and its hard to imagine anyone facing up to either team when healthy, aside from each other of course. However I'll never count out the Spurs as long as Duncan/Pop are around. I will make room for the possibility of an OKC upset though.

Of course the real thing is health. For all we know Steph could go back to being injury prone and wind up being the next Derrick Rose type player. And if just 1 big key guy gets hurt over at GSW I think they'd fare at lot worst than a LBJ-led injured team.

The problem is that lineup gets absolutely SHREDDED on the other end, meaning you have to hope it simply out shoots the Warriors' lineup. And if you get caught up trying to out shoot the Warriors, who may be the greatest shooting team we've ever seen, you've already lost.

Wtf. I'm counting last year, too, when they happened to win 67 games. It's a damn prediction. I just think we're the only team (besides maybe a healthy OKC) who can beat them in a playoff series. Why are you getting so butthurt?

Yeah, a shootout would be a bad idea. You have to slow down the pace to beat them, as we saw in the first 3 games of each of the Cavs-Warriors and Grizzlies-Warriors series. Playing up tempo is exactly what they want.

Meh. I just think you and the other Warriors fanboys are slurping whatever ESPN feeds you. It's WAY too early to make claims about the postseason. There are 4 other REALLY good teams in the West who have another 69 games to improve.

That's a long time.

Nice thing for the Cavs is you can put Delly and TT into that lineup and your offense is still very potent and against GS you know they have a hard time on the offensive glass with this and you have 4 plus defenders in there. Cavs really do have the ability to matchup that other teams just don't have. It all depends on health though obviously

Last years matchup in the regular season with them was interesting as Love really seemed to bother there usual game plan. They don't usually encounter bigs who can shoot and outrebound them. Plus we saw what KI was able to do in game1

Last few games has shown how the league is adjusting to GS. You have your PG attack Curry and then on defense you pressure the ball.

This is proof that Steve Kerr was basically a pointless aspect of this team's success. A mascot could coach the Warriors...

Why go there when so many people say the same shit about David Blatt?

The problem with that GSW line up is it will always leave us with a mismatch. All those guys after Curry are 6'7"-6'8", can handle the ball, and all shoot the 3. The personnel we will have at the 2/3 is the only thing that gives me a bad feeling.

I think a line up of Irving/JR/Shump/LBJ/Love could beat them, but JR is the huge x factor here. In the finals last year he got destroyed by Thompson. Delly did is well. I also dont know how well jefferson would do in threre, but if he can defend well and shoot okay i would even let him close out games.

It will definitely be an interesting series for sure

Unlike other teams we can still outrebound them without offensive ability. The Warriors for all there flash beat teams with defense and if there are two players who love attacking the rim its Irving and Lebron. Lebron till he wore out was having a field day against the Warriors
