If that's now targeting, then they've gone way too far with the rule.

He's an established ball carrier. If hitting an established carrier with your helmet is targeting, then every OLineman targets on every block.

Ball dont lie.

What a bunch of fucking garbage.

They showed the michigan play here and the crowd went nuts.

then they played Back to Back

Whew

I really love a lot of Cardale's abilities. And I think he has all the tools to be a great NFL QB. I can't say the same of Barrett. With that said, JT absolutely deserves to be the starter.

I thought people were being silly before last week. Both QBs had played equally poorly, and Cardale may have even played better. But the past two weeks, the team scores and converts easily with JT, yet not with Cardale. In fact, watching the offense with Cardale has been painful, even last week when he was 21-28.

I ultimately think something is wrong with Cardale. I don't know if it is confidence, the system, the receivers, or what. But we don't have time to let him figure it out, especially when we have a QB who can run the offense as well as JT. It's time to officially make the change.

He may have the tools to be an NFL QB except the brain.

As for the Buckeyes, it's JT's team and it shouldn't even be a question. Needs to start.

Because he's being asked to run an offense that is 180 degrees opposite his skillset, he's stupid?

If Urban didn't want to take any deep shots and have his QB be a threat running on the edge, he should've started JT.

Saying a guy doesn't have the brain to be a great NFL QB is a far cry from saying he's stupid, but I'll roll with it. Cardale is not cerebral at all. He's a big guy with a big arm. NFL offenses aren't going to have him throwing 40 yard bombs a dozen times a game, either, you know. If he has to throw it deep to be good- and nothing we've seen this season says that is even true- then he doesn't have what it takes to be a great NFL QB.
