I was saying this before the season began. Their putrid showing against the Tigers doesn't affect my opinion this is an 81-81 team. That was always my take.

This is a team without a SINGLE star quality player in the lineup. You lose 1-2 above average hitters, which almost every team does, you're a .500 team.

That I don't buy into. I don't think most of these guys get mental blocks on specific teams. The Tigers just have superior talent and star level players.
