2015 Minor League Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Glad to see he gives Urshela some love. I'll take guys who outperform thier projections projections/exceed expectations as the type who can make the adjustments needed to make the leap. Also it shows how loaded SS is right now that Lindor is the 6th rated prospect but 4 th at his position.

Corey Seager and Carlos Correa almost certainly end up at a corner eventually, Addison Russell may end up at 2B as well IMO.

Defensively, Lindor is vastly better than all of them. Which is what makes his floor so much higher than the other guys.

Indians up to 17th in the draft, with James Shields signing (most likely) with San Diego.

Season starts tonight for AAA, AA, and A+. If I leave anyone off you want to know about, let me know. Here is where guys I will track are at:

Francisco Lindor
Gio Urshela
Tyler Holt
Destin Hood
Carlos Moncrief
James Ramsey

Justus Sheffield
J.P. Feyereisen
Francisco Mejia
Bobby Bradley

The infield in Columbus, outfield in Lynchburg, and all of Lake County should be good follows this year.

That Lynchburg lineup can mash.

Is Lindor flexible enough to play third base? Or Ramirez for that matter.

I'm sure he could, but you just don't move a defensive player like that away from SS. I'm sure the Indians hope Ramirez plays well this year, that way they can switch Kipnis back to OF, and Lindor and Ramirez is your SS/2B combo for the next decade.

And if you want a 3B who can play defense at a high level after watching Lonnie struggle over there, Gio Urshela is that. Just need to see him continue with the bat. His season last year being legit and him panning out would be huge, as it would give you a gold glove caliber player at 3B while providing a good amount of power from the right side, which we really need.

Bobby Bradley and Bradley Zimmer hit their 1st HR's of the year today. 3 hits-- 2 2B's for Yu-Cheng Chang in the doubleheader.

Justus Sheffield got the W today-- 5 IP, 4 H, 1 R (unearned), 4 K's.
