You know what, I can't let this one go. You want to know what happened to Miami? It wasn't that they got old, it's that they got cheap. Didn't use their MLE, amnestied Miller, and got rid of Joel Anthony. Not to mention that they traded picks to avoid the tax. That is what fucked Miami.this crap pisses me off. That's what happened to the Heat they got so old and couldn't compete, but then the Cavs never seem to be able to develop young guys that weren't already studs. All I know is the team better get a back up PG before the season starts.
Who was the jackass working the video board during that segment?
He needs to eat the biggest bag of dicks possible.
"HELLO LAKERS" re: Kevin Love.
Eat shit.
Wow, Larry Nance was projected bottom 2nd. Lakers with a surprise pick.

Miller while not great, could have been flipped in addition to maybe Cole for a servicable player, but instead they didn't want to pay yp.
All first round picks are guaranteed contracts thought right?Wonder if he'll get the OKC treatment. Play in the D-league for a year with a "promise" to be promoted to the big club. Essentially an American draft and stash to save cap space.
Windhorst just tweeted the same thing about 5 minutes before he did. I don't think he ever has any of his own info. Just sees something from Woj or Windy and runs with it in the same vague way.Sam The Bullshit Whisperer aka King of Vague
Wow I feel the cavs would've chose Jefferson but the nets jumps us and made a trade now hopefully we get something worth a damn in the 2nd round or this will be a wasted draft
I don't remember where I read it, but even though the salary for a draft pick at 24 is only around 1.2 million, with our luxury tax we would have ended up paying almost $4 million for that pick. We can get a productive veteran in that roster spot instead.I know Griffin talked about getting players between 26 and 30 that can contribute to the team but how can we afford any talented guys in that age range? They would cost more money I would think than a draft pick.

Not really. It's a combination of cheap ownership, and LeBron saying f you Riley. You have to spend money to keep a guy like LeBron on the team. He doesn't want a title, he wants 10, and when you screw him over, he cuts you loose.well actually it's a combination of the two.
