2015 NBA Offseason Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I hope LMA dicks the Spurs, sending TIIIIMMMMMYYYYYY, Batman Ginnoooobbbbliiii, and the little french douche into retirement.

Without look at cap holds, the Raptors have like 10-12 million in cap space after the Carrol deal, right? They were rumored to be talking to Matthews, if they could dump Patterson (maybe by attaching a guy like Ross) they'd have the room, I think.

Whats PHX cap situation looking like now? What pieces do they need to move to sign LMA?

@col63onel
If they renounce all their cap holds except Knight (Thorton, Wright, Green, Barron) they'd still be ~ 2mil short. Moving PJ Tucker or Granger looks like their best bets. Doable, but not ideal for a max.

If Phoenix somehow does the impossible and gets Aldridge, that's a scary team for the next couple of years or however long Chandler remains a good player. Really long, good shooting and pretty young.

I'd much rather have Aldridge go their than to the Spurs...

We are the scary team over the next 4-5 years.

Wasn't a Cavs-centric post.

Merely that I really like that Phoenix roster for a couple of years.

Someone give me a rundown of Toronto's cap situation. They don't a max slot if Matthews is their target.

Phoenix is looking at annual 1st round exits, at best.

In that scenario both Portland and Dallas would be exiting the playoff picture. Okc will be back assuming they are healthy. Phx could reach something like a 5th seed and maybe could win a round.

C'mon...

Which of the top 4 West teams are they beating in the 1st round?

I'll take that starting 5 against Houston in a 7 game series and not bat an eye.

Not to mention they could get top 4 themselves. What separated seeds 6 through 2 this year? Like less than 3 games. That Suns team, if healthy, can win 53-55 games.

Yikes.

Maybe if they get Aldridge...

Well the Spurs missing out on LMA, could make an offer for Green. Hell any of these teams that miss out could make an offer for Green.
