2015 NBA Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
lmao can we finally admit doc is a overrated coach

austin rivers is a scrub

he should be getting 0 playoff minutes, getting beat down byu a 37 year old pablo

Same with Paul at this point. Probably one of if not the most overrated players in the NBA.

The guy is not a superstar. His teams don't win shit, and his ability to impose his will on a game is extremely limited.

He is a good All-star level player, but he is not great, and people need to stop talking about him like he is a top 10 player.

Realistically on a championship team he would be a good 2nd/3rd option.

hopefully now after another choke job people take note

Coaches don't choke, players do. Every player on the Clippers, maybe, and I say maybe outside of Paul, is just mentally fragile. They unravel easily. They've been like this much of the year.

They are talented enough to win a title, but the psyche of the team is so fragile.

Not sure how that's a coaching problem, although I agree Doc has always been limited, and heavily relied upon with great veteran teams, along with some outstanding assistant coaches.

Doc is just a good coach, not a great one.

Us Indians fans know the pain of losing a 3-1 series lead in the playoffs.

Clippers fans are going to know the feeling tonight.

Man... it seems like the Golden State Warriors are gonna have such an easy path to a championship this year, it’s not even funny.

Eh...I think the Rockets match up with them better than the Clippers.

And it's not as if our path is any more difficult. If we had Love we might have swept to the Finals.

No/Memphis/Houston vs. Boston/Chicago/Atlanta to me is a wash as far as difficulty goes.

If they beat a Lebron team in the finals (regardless of who else is playing) they will have earned the title.

This is why I was stunned the Spurs were bounced. The Clips are so fragile and whiny, I thought that was an easy draw for San Antonio.

Will be an interesting offseason in LA. Clips had a golden opportunity to build momentum with the Lakers a total after thought currently, now they will have to take a serious look at reconfiguring the roster. Not sure you can bring back the same mix after a collapse this massive.

Completely disagree here. This is the same guy that came back with a hamstring injury (just see how limited Gasol was with one), and won his team the game, against the defending champs.

Paul is definitely physically tough, sometimes he struggles to keep his composure. But I think the biggest problem, is its really hard for a guy that's just 6 feet tall, despite how good Paul is, to just dominate enough to win a championship.

Paul can score, but he's truly a pass first point guard. This is where the Clippers needed, and it was looking like Griffin was taking his game to the next level, but went back to being not relied upon in big games.

I know Griffin has 20 points, not playing horrible, but it definitely feels like an empty 20 points in this game.

Paul has 26 with just 3 assists, that's a bad sign. It's just hard for small guys to dominate the game offensively, and win titles in this league. It just doesn't happen.

Also will be interesting to see if DeAndre Jordan leaves the Clippers this summer.

Griffin's problem is that, as amazing as he is inside the paint, you just don't have to respect him from outside of it. Yeah, he's gotten better at making mid-range jumpers, but I'd much prefer to give him those than let him dunk. If he were bigger or a better defender it would be one thing, but he's about average PF size and has t-rex arms.

To the finals, yes. And if we had Love we would probably be the favorites to win the whole thing. But given our injury situation currently there’s no way we wouldn’t be clear underdogs in any Finals series.

Although I do give ourselves better odds of winning than both Atlanta and Houston, for what it’s worth.

Get ready for a three point shoot out next round.

Told you the Clippers weren't bouncing back. What a way to go down. Like a disoriented kid, sitting in a heap on the bathroom floor, after he just smeared his feces all over the walls. The parents burst in, and exclaim, WTF just happened here?

I dislike everything about the way Harden plays...

But it's effective...
