2015 NCAA March Madness

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Self threw everything he had at Wichita: 2-3 zone, full court press. What he really needed was a low post scorer with size. And Self suspended him.

Wichita is scrappy and a lot of fun to watch.

Bill Self had nothing to do with Cliff Alexander being held out. He was (is) the subject of an NCAA investigation.

If KU wants to be serious contenders, they are going to have to convince their freshmen to stay. Kentucky can get away with it because they get like 8 of the top 15 recruits. Kansas can get like 2, but they got to keep them and develop a team if they want to be good. That's how a team like Wichita can beat them without having half the talent. They have experience and chemistry. And they just played harder but still.

I missed that whole thing before filling out my bracket. I had read somewhere that Self and Alexander butted heads all season so I thought it was Self's choice. Thanks.

Fully expecting a Duke Kentucky final at this point.

Both teams just seem to be on a different level.

Honest question, can anyone remember two better 7 seeds than Wichita State and Sparty?

Me and my friends were trying to come up with some earlier today and I couldn't even think of one. Both of those teams are veteran led and have some star power with top notch coaching.

WSU will give Kentucky all they can handle.

UConn won the title last year as a 7.

I am still holding okay, still have a shot to win my bracket.

6/8 of my Elite 8 teams are still active (UK, Wisc., Zona, Oklahoma, Duke, Zaga....missing Texas  and Nova)
3/4 of my Final Four are active (Kentucky, Arizona, Gonzaga.....missing Vill)
Both my championship teams are in it (Arizona, Gonzaga)

With how weird this tournament has been, I am not upset with it.

Think I've seen the last of D'Angelo in my class...

Random entertaining fact: The darling of Bay Village, Ohio - Matt Stainbrook of Xavier - is actually 18 days older than Kyrie. It feels like that dude has been playing college ball since they invented the three point line.
