So what does everyone think of Jays fans throwing beer cans everywhere :chuckle: I mean do we have a say?

I thought it was hilarious, but then they started showing wives with babies crying.
Epic fail by Toronto- no clue how to properly embarass themselves. If that had happened in Cleveland, we would have forced a forfeit by the Indians AND would have had the audacity to blame the umps for our bad behavior. These damn Canadians will be apologizing before you know it.

Found highlights. You can watch the whole thing but the action starts at about 8:55.

Anyone else think it's a bit ridiculous for these teams to celebrate winning the DS like they just won the World Series? I mean, champagne and goggles? If you win the pennant or the WS, fine, but c'mon.

Not ridiculous at all. We're down to the final 4 teams after 6 and a half months of baseball. It's a big deal. It'd be disappointing if they weren't taking the time to enjoy the moment.

My god.

So jealous of that atmosphere.

Could not agree more.

After almost 170 games, theyre almost there. Id be partying too.

Exactly. It's like the Bro's on the Tribe who went champagne and glasses after the clinched the PLAY IN GAME. We can agree to disagree on this.

Not sure why there's so much hatred surrounding this Jays team. Haven't tasted the Postseason in 21 years?

Are we really pointing fingers at fans for throwing some empty beer cans onto the field?

Those "babies" were like 7 years old, by the way.

They nearly lost on one of the weirdest (albeit correct) calls in MLB history. I wouldn't expect any less from a passionate fanbase.

As far as the team goes, way too much talent and sashay to dislike them. Love it. Bring it on.

And fuck the Cubs. Talk about humility... They have absolutely NONE and supplemented by zero baseball knowledge. They're a good team, just ask their fans they'll be sure to tell you all about it!

After watching that inning, here are my thoughts:
1. Great heads up play by Odor by going home on the deflected ball. Can't really even fault Toronto, no one was close enough to make a play even if they tried.

2. Great that the umps got the call right in the end.

3. I think the Rangers should have played the game under protest- it is entirely possible that beer that spilled from cups thrown on the field had gotten onto the grass, onto the ball and then onto the hands of their butter fingers SS. Wow he had a horrible inning, Beltre gave him a look like he had touched Adrians head.

4. Dan Pompey needs to be suspended two games for trying to injure the catcher. He went completely out of the baseline to try and hurt the catcher. MLB needs to be consistent.

5. Epic blast by Jose Bautista. Makes me want to see MLB just allow steroid use in the playoffs only.

I dunno. I just dont mind it. I can agree about the play in game though. But the ALDS is a pretty big deal.

I really love October baseball. Wish we were there.

I didn't have a problem with it. The catcher's foot was just coming off the plate as he hit him.

Utley's slide was late, high, and made no attempt to tag the base.
