The runs thing is arbitrary, since it requires your teammates to drive you in, but 50 hits in 25-27 games in nuts, and a 1.200 ops means the batter hit for power and probably the most dangerous hitter in the league during that month. These numbers do say appt, especially when most of the names on that list are from before the advent of most quality breaking pitches and after the spitball was banned.

Oh gosh, don't confuse me. I have no idea. I guess it would depend on if we think we really, really, really have a shot at the division. If we think so come July deadline, then maybe the choice of 2 of 3 prospects we put out there. A player to be named as well but only if we do indeed win the division.

The guy can pitch. We would have 5 studs as starters. He might give us another 5 or 6 extra wins we might not get otherwise.
