Trade all of them for Trout and Pujols. Problem solved.

I mean, Pujols is one of the best HR hitters in the history of baseball and Trout is on his way to being one as well, already the youngest to 100 HRs, and half of those Indians players you mentioned have missed close to half of the season or more so far, while the others like Bourn, Brantley, and Kipnis aren't exactly touted for their power. Not really that shocking.

A combined 12 players hit 58 home runs. Come on now. That is really, really shocking.

Lindor isn't a noted power hitter and is a rookie who has been up for less than 2 months, same goes for Urshela, Gomes missed 2 months, Sands has 31 plate appearances, Raburn only hits against lefties and hasn't played for like 2 weeks, Perez is a back-up C with less than 200 plate appearances...of the players who have actually played the majority of the season on that list, Bourn has 31 career HRs, and Brantley and Kipnis aren't power hitters...no, its not shocking, not if you know anything about the players being talked about.

3 players have killed the Indians HR totals this year, and 2 of them aren't even listed.

I live 20 minutes away from Angels Stadium. Thinking of going to see Carrasco or Salazar pitch

Tribe is 23rd in HRs - in front of Kansas City and Pittsburgh.

If you count Moss, - they started the season with 4 of the top 52 HR hitters from 2014

Santana (27) - 17th
Moss (25) - 21st
Gomes (21) - 46th
Brantley (20) - 52nd

The two teams that met in the World Series ranked 17th (SF) and dead last (KC) - the Tribe was 14th.

KC didn't have anyone hit over 20 HRs and SF had two - Pence (20) and Posey (22).

Honestly this kind of shows how much it has hurt that our core guys are having down years. Gomes, Brantley, and Santana combined for 68 homers last year and only have 25 so far this year.

Big killer for our HR #'s begins and ends with Swisher. 9 straight 20+ HR seasons, then last year happened. Guy just deteriorated just like that. Sad thing is, he has an offensive style that ages well...adequate power, switch hitter who plays the gaps, and an approach that relies on him working counts and drawing walks (why he was an .800+ ops guy 6 out of 7 years from 06-12). Just sad that his body broke down, because he was well worth the money people are currently complaining about his 1st year with us.

Yeah in sports it seems like we're obsessed with blaming people or acting like we should be able to see the future - but sometimes it's just bad luck. Swisher played in 145+ games for like 7 straight seasons and had an OPS over .800 in all but one of those. He averaged 2.75 WAR per season over that time period.

His game was built to age well. They paid him a lot of money - but this should've been a mostly no-risk move. It's staggering it blew up this badly.

Even with Bourn - you knew the last year or two would be bad as his speed dropped off, but the dude stole 40 bases and had a 6.1 WAR the year before he signed here. It's insane he dropped off so quickly.
