2015 Series #37 -|- Indians vs. Yankees -|- August 11th, 12th, and 13th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Give me a hit Abraham.

Jose is raking, I told y'all just give him a little time.

It was slow developing in the minors, expect it to be the same way in the majors. The approach and tools are there, but he could use some MLB level instructors on his mechanics.

I'm interested to see what his development curve will look like.

I'm more concerned about his unwillingness to work the count and take the walk. It was an issue that plagued him pre-2014 and seems to have resurfaced this year. It's not like he strikes out too much to be effective but I think it just limits his ability to square up a pitch and make hard contact....

You guys are probably salivating at the idea of Kipnis taking the rest of the year off.

More Stinky P!

Would anybody argue that this pitching staff could win a World Series? It'll be Cookie/Kluber either way, Salazar then Bauer.

Since this staff is so damn good, so good. Best pitching I ever seen in my 24 years of Indians baseball, and I watched 2 Cy Young's recently. But this staff is great and can carry us but you still need runs to win and very seldom more runs.

Should we expect the Dolans to spend big money, maybe create the biggest Indians payroll in some time? Minus the '90s

All this team arguably needs is a respected stick, and if u want to get greedy, an respected arm, maybe even a ace if u want add to this awesome staff and be deadly every game out. Of course some plugs in the pen but every team can use that.

Either way, I'd hope they realize this staff won't be good forever so the time should be now to act.

Trading Bourn, Swish, and Moss opened up some cash flow to act.

Another good outing by Indian's starters. If we only had a power hitter...or two, we wouldn't need to worry about the next few outs.

That's always been his issue, putting the ball in play so much to the point of limiting his ways to getting on base/not seeing the eventual best pitch in a given at bat. But that's also one of the reason's I'm high on him developing into at least an average MLB 3B offensively. I mean the approach to hitting is there. He is more willing to go the other way than most young players that I have ever seen, the power is there, the plate discipline is there in the sense that he can put the bat on the ball consistently at any level...I think he needs to cut down the length of his swing and the height he initially brings his front foot to when striding...forces him to commit way too early IMO.
