Okay I see , good win tonight we made Detroit look like the old us for a game, although Hammy stated Detroit got in at 6am and players were told basically to come when you feel like it. So I guess they punted this game and hopefully punt the series

Yeah, Bauer has a guaranteed spot in the rotation next year..... It's not really even up for debate. He's way too talented to give up on.

On a side note, love how people are calling for us to give up on our young and talented players because they've hit a road block in their development.

You don't make a 24 year old ~2 WAR starting pitcher fight for a rotation spot...especially one with the stuff Bauer has where it can just click like that and he instantly becomes elite. I honestly couldn't believe I saw people lumping him in with Tomlin, Floyd, Anderson, and a pitcher who has yet to get past AA ball. Makes me question some things.

You don't make a 24 year old ~2 WAR starting pitcher fight for a rotation spot...especially one with the stuff Bauer has where it can just click like that and he instantly becomes elite. The kid should be having more wins considering he's facing other 4th starters, and Bauer likely has that matchup by default. But then he throws up a 5 ERA.
